Strong was a premiere candidate, though. Actually just saw an article today where Foley is being criticized for failing to fire Muschamp last year and being able to gun for last year's stronger crop, including Strong.

Strong's first year at Texas wasn't as successful as they'd hope. But I don't think they gave enough credit with how tough it is to install a system. Texas could very well be real good in the next 2 years. And that's because Strong is a good coach and because the state of Texas has talent.
