I've been hitting social media marketing for our church heavy with the pokemon stuff. Dropped a lure during our youth ministry last night and the kids were going wild. Have also been putting waters out with a sign for any people that come by.

That's awesome LOMS! I haven't seen ONE person out catching Pokemon in North Platte.

-1 can't work around here. People that constantly disagree with certain people would go out of their way to use the system against those who disagreed with them.

I saw a thing on Twitter today that said that a recent poll found that race relations right now are worse than after the OJ verdict.

I believe it. It's one thing to riot after the Rodney King beating or to celebrate an obviously guilty man getting off but it's quite another when people go after police officers. That is not going to win any friends or generate sympathy for the cause. It will do the exact opposite. Guessing it will be pretty ugly for quite awhile.

To me, it seems much deeper and tense.

I just started it last night. I finished the first two parts, and so far so good. I was too young to understand everything at the time, so this has been a very entertaining, informative documentary.

Pretty sure it's a separate input into the TV. DVR is a problem for over-the-air signals like that. There are work-arounds, but they're hard to set up.

I think there is plenty of room for people to be able to consider something sinful behavior without being labeled as "against" the people who may commit those sins. The saying; hate the sin, not the sinner comes to mind. The Catholic church considers lots of things sins but they (at least the Priests I have been exposed to) are very clear to differentiate between the sin and the sinner. Of course some people don't want any behavior frowned upon by others.

Good god. It's possible to disagree with a lifestyle, yet not "hate" the person(s). Why the hell does everything have to be so exclusive of each other. it's laziness. Pure laziness

I don't think anyone is trying to say Chick-fil-A hates gays and are surprised they're not happy about the shooting.

That doesn't make it any less surprising and cool that they're going out of their way to help in this situation.

Why so much hate? I mean, even if a person is against homosexuality, why so much hate to the point where they want to kill innocent people? #PerplexingHatefulPeople

If your religion condemns homosexuality why kill gays? Let your god take care of the "problem" in the afterlife by sending their soul to a place of torment for eternity.
