Some of you guys might have an idea, what does a site like this generate in revenue each month? 500 dollars? 5000 dollars? Nothing?

Which state would you visit last, if you were visiting all 50, and why?

@teachercd you’re gonna miss out on Roswell, Carlsbad Caverns and the SanteFe/Taos area. But yeah, the rest of the state is pretty much rundown trailer houses in the middle of nowhere.

Superintendent on a power trip. Not with the decision itself, with the constant, very public "I've had this decision made for two weeks and people aren't going to like me but I can't tell you yet" bulls#!t she's been pulling. Please wise one, please tell everyone the plan that everyone knew you had for weeks.

Got the rules/protocols for sports and clubs here in Omaha today. Good news, there will be no chance of any spreading of the virus.

Anyone rewatch 24, and if so, how did it hold up the second time around?

Busch Apple, anyone had it yet? I guess it is selling out like crazy.

Anyone sear chicken hindquarter in a pan or on the grill before smoking them? I hate smoked chicken skin, it is so rubbery.

@BigRedBuster Lately I've been putting mayonnaise on steaks.
If any of you just gagged and are ready to come after me with pitchforks and torches, I understand.
What I do is smoke the steaks in my kamado at around 250F until their internal temperature is around 105-110F, then pull them off, put a big cast iron skillet in the kamado, and crank it up until its temperature is over 500F. Then the steaks get a light coat of mayo and go on the skillet to sear, about 20-30 seconds on each side twice (ie about 1.5 to 2 minutes total).
So why the mayo? Consider its main ingredients: oil and eggs. Oil you'd be using for searing on a cast iron skillet anyway, while eggs lotsa protein for Maillard reactions with the meat to give you a more flavorful crust when you sear it. Works well, I find!
As for putting mustard, mayo, or oil on briskets, ribs, or butts? Completely unnecessary, I think. The moisture of the meat itself is plenty for getting a thick coat of rub to stick.

@Cdog923 and @funhusker Have you seen twitter? People are staring to call teachers names for not wanting to go back to school! Oh, I also found out we a full 3 months off over the summer and that we are only teachers because no adults will work with us and we all do everything we can to pick on students because we were picked on.

Every teacher I ever had a problem with in high school, in retrospect, I only had a problem with them because my attitude sucked or they expected more out of me than what I was delivering.
I learned that just because you don't like >a< teacher, doesn't mean that teacher isn't good at their job. They just might not mesh well with you at the point you are at in your life.

I only call 1 teacher names, you monster @teachercd

If there is no season is there any chance that the Railyard in Lincoln survives? I have heard the lease rates there are crazy high and with no home games, will there even be a railyard?

PAC-12 players about to boycott! They want 6 years free insurance after leaving school and 50/50 revenue share!

What "life hacks" do you use?

Not one life hack here. You are sad people. I don’t normally do this, but because you are Husker fans, and very unhackaled Husker fans, I will give you a freebie. When toasting bread in a slot toaster, place your knife in top. When bread is toasted, your knife will be warm and easily cut through your butter for easy application. No plastic knives. Use a dish towel or pot holder if necessary to safely grip the end of the knife.

Douglas County Health says not to inform classes/students if a kid has been exposed. Interesting.

The lowest price you remember a McDonald's Cheeseburger being...go.
I will start. I think...for me the first time I remember the price, they were .69 cents.

Worst place you had to do #2?
I have two:
1. Office West Lounge: No door and it was EXPLOSIVE! I knew there was no stall door but I had to do it, so I RUSHED that one!
2. Michigan game two years ago. We are tailgating and I have to go. I hit up a port-o-potty and it is is pitch black in there. I go BAD and wiping...it was like cream cheese.

Papio opening school with all kids everyday. No decision on masks yet.

I have been eating a lot of tuna and I almost put cheese on it and made a tuna melt...but then I knew @RedDenver would not approve. Ha

OPS gonna do half kids one day...half the next.

@Cdog923 I agree...I think this is a plan that is being put in place and based on hope...The idea that you will keep kids apart from each other is laughable. And to think that they can't be near each other in school but can be right next to each other at practices?

So there are people that think the George Floyd death is all made up? How do some people function??? Good lord.

@BigRedN this isn't a political or religious post. The update thread is almost always used to point out hard to believe or stupid things. All sane people know that George Floyd is dead. If a person doesn't believe that, they are crazy!
Your status updates around Easter that "spread the word" were more against board rules than this. As far as I know, your updates stayed up.
