They could use a lot of help on the defensive line and safety, but I'm not sure if there was anyone on the board right there that would have been a better pick than what they got.

They need more help in their secondary than just Claiborne and they could have gotten it with Clinton-Dix or Dennard.

I think with the amount of money they invested in Claiborne and Carr, they have to at least give it a little more time to pan out.

If you have a huge need at a position, and the best player on the board happens to play that position, it shouldn't be controversial to make that pick.

The refs were a little lenient towards Troy and a little stricter towards us it felt like.  Even then, we had half a dozen chances to stop the bleeding and never stepped up.  The fact we marched right through them for our last score shows we were capable of doing that all day.  Just genuine disinterest and sloppy line play coupled with a 3rd string QB.  This sucks.

When you say we've had an abnormal amount of injuries, that is explaining. When a person goes on to say "our record would've been better without the injuries" or "we would've played better without the injuries", at that point, it becomes an excuse. If that isn't correct, please explain it to me.
