Frost said hi to Damon Benning before the Press Conference started. It's so clear the two guys hate each other.

@Frontrunner, since we're all being cordial, my name is Enrique, my favorite color is clear, I'm hooked on phonics, I love warm hugs, and I have a drinking problem, but only when I park in the red zone.

I think it's great that Frost did such a great job at UCF, but I hope we can forget about that school from now on.

All the coaches in the ESPN film room during the OU-Georgia game were making fun of rugby tackling. #Eichorsted
-
The coaches film room on ESPNEWS is such a great way to watch these playoff games. All-22 view with some great coaches commenting. Gary Patterson is owning the room.

I think I will put my half UCF-half Nebraska shirt to good use today.

Mike Rozier now has a Twitter account. It's a Christmas miracle!!!

Greg Schiano could end up with $20.75 M for Tennessee for being "fired without cause". It's a sticky situation, but I think Schiano would have a good case. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/21742751/greg-schiano-earned-277m-6-plus-years-scrapped-tennessee-deal

True, @HuskerNBigD, but I think Meyer is thinking "glad to have you back, Greg, Tennessee really screwed you over."
-
IMO it seemed more like Ten folks just hated the hire and dig some digging so they could stop the hire. Yeah, the stories could be true but it's really a he said/he said kind of thing.
In other words if Tennessee had hired Saban no one would have bothered turning over all the rocks to find something damning.
-
Agree, @RunMickeyRun02. Clay Travis was the big Tennessee guy who was mad at the hire, and dug up this stuff at Penn State and started the Twitter storm. That exploded on campus, and Schiano was all of a sudden "not the hire".

Listening to Benning this morning, he was pretty spot on regarding Frost having a very tough decision to come to NU. That's the only point that Benning kept on making over the past few months, is that Frost was really enjoying coaching at UCF, and it was going to be a harder decision than most people thought for him to leave. In fact, Frost had to be talked into following through with NU by Osborne on Friday night. Of course, most people just want to say that DB was being a hater, and didn't like Frost.

Frost to current players: The vacation is over!!!

Frost gives Perlman and Eichorst a middle finger in his PC. Love it!!

Sumlin got PAID!!! $10.4M buyout within 60 days and it doesn't get reduced if he takes another job.

The more and more I read about Riley's tenure and I think about him, he's the type of guy who would be great at leading a non-profit, charitable organization, but would be awful at leading a corporate behemoth that needs to report strong earnings every quarter.

Moos quit watching the Huskers yesterday and started watching the UCF game like 90% of the rest of Husker fans.

Someone who is computer graphics savvy needs to make a Last Jedi gif/pic with Scott Frost.

Minnesota scored 10 points in each of the 2 games before playing Nebraska. Hangs 54 on the El Diaco D, and is now being shut out at Northwestern. One of these things is not like the other.

Saw on Twitter that Kansas State had an agreement to bring Jim Leavitt to Manhattan to be DC and Head Coach in Waiting, and was going to take over in 2018. Grandpa Bill mixed that idea because he wants his son to get the job when he retires. Interesting.
-
I just realized I was following Mark Banker on Twitter. He sent out his 2nd Tweet ever today. Quickly unfollowed.
-
Someone who is much better at pasting Twitter posts should start a thread from SpreadOffense.com@SpreadOffense on Twitter. They are showing a bunch of old spread plays from the 90s, and how Osborne started so many of today's spread principles.

In both of Riley's biggest "upsets" during his time at NU, his team was able to overcome a 12-point, 4th quarter deficit. NU just needs to get to that 12 point deficit going forward.
-
I know the DPI on the fake punt was a terrible call, but how did the officials miss the Tanner Lee fumble at midfield early in the 2nd quarter? He wasn't close to being down and he lost the ball. NU caught a break there, and ended up getting a FG on that drive.
-
Kenny Bell getting another shot with the Ravens. He was put on their practice squad today. I hope he can stay healthy, and eventually make it on the 53-man.
-
Weekly positive reinforcement time: NU can't lose this weekend!!!
-
I have finally watched the Ohio State game. Wow, I didn't expect it to be that ugly. NU offered no resistance on either side of the ball.

Correct, @HuskerInLostWages I did like how Spielman played. He seemed like the one player out there who was giving a f*ck about the game. I was wrong about my "garbage time" stats comment.
