knapplc
Trev's statement announcing his hire by A&M. These words weren't chosen by accident. 1 Quote Link to comment
Loebarth
Frustrating to say the least. Now the worry about sniping coachs (like Tony White)... Shocked that Trev resigned via email rather than in person.. Guess the office will be cleaned and personal items forwarded. Quote Link to comment
Micheal
Why should anyone donate to the university when the executive leadership is so inept? I have no faith in the president search. 1 Quote Link to comment

Gage County
F that guy, he was cancer. We were looking for an AD when we hired him. Next man up! Now that I have that off my chest I can finish this fifth of whisky. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
Caliborn72
Hard not to feel like he twisted the knife a bit but I’m sure there were internal frustrations and tried his best to change them. Still, very unfortunate timing on it. Quote Link to comment

I mean he probably isn't as hands on in the universities but going to Texas isn't and upgrade in governor. Texas governor is one of the worst people imaginable. 2 1 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Trev didn't quit because of the fans, he didn't quit because of his coaches and he didn't quit because of the teams. He quit because the NU System is broken. So broken that he left his alma mater for the same job, making the same money, with a shorter contract. 3 3 3 Quote Link to comment
Micheal
If he is worried about leadership issues in the university Texas A&M isn't no perfect place. I wouldn't feel super safe being AD there. You think our boosters /regents are crazy. 1 Quote Link to comment
Wistrom Disciple
Just now, Micheal said: If he is worried about leadership issues in the university Texas A&M isn't no perfect place. I wouldn't feel super safe being AD there. You think our boosters /regents are crazy. Key difference... he knows who is boss is at A&M and clearly believes in the guy. We apparently don't have a firm vision or leaders in place that instill confidence that the University is set up for success. @knapplc was spot on that the problem lies with the University administration and the Board of Regents. Sad to see it play out as it did today. 1 Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
When I went to UNL in the glory days of football, the UNL Board of Regents were absolutely loaded with dimwits and s#!theads. But they generally didn't touch athletics. 2 Quote Link to comment
