StPaulHusker
Nothing. Ever. He has an AD to handle this. He wouldn't force TO's hand and he shouldn't do it here either. 1 Quote Link to comment
Ulty
I'd call Eichhorst and say, "You're able to handle this, right? Good. Let me know how it goes." Then I'd sit in my office and look studious. That would have been Monday. Then I'd order Chinese take-out. Some chicken lo mein would really hit the spot. 1 Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Retire, immediately!! The guy is running things into the ground IMO. Quote Link to comment

I agree with that. however there is a distinction. TO took the job because he wanted to help I don't really think it was something that TO wanted. Besides telling one of the best coaches what to do isn't going to work. Quote Link to comment

Enhance
This is Eichorst's responsibility, and I say he doesn't do a thing until the season is over. Mid-season mash ups can be a disaster and could potentially tank an entire season, and there's nothing about this situation that calls for an immediate solution. Quote Link to comment

kchusker_chris
Retire, immediately!! The guy is running things into the ground IMO. Yes, he just navigated the program through one of the most turbulent times in history...and came out WAY on top. He's one of the most influential presidents in the NCAA, which benefits Nebraska at every turn. He's facilitated the expansion of the athletics programs and university as a whole. But, he called out Bo...so let's fire him. And I'm sure you think Tom was the reasoning behind all of this with Pearlman just taking a backseat. Since conference realignment has nothing to do with the rest of the university, only athletics. And that new arena has nothing to do w/ the rest of the university. And that stadium expansion as nothing to do with the rest of the university. 100% Tom, every step of the way. Yup, lets get some guy that doesn't give a rat's ass about athletics (like many presidents) so we can bitch about how the president goes too far to prioritize education over athletics. 1 Quote Link to comment
ADS
I would keep my nose out of the Athletic Department. Quote Link to comment

Probably call up Tommy Lee on Wednesday to see if he wants to start a seven-episode Season 2 where Tommy goes after a master's degree in 'Awesomeology'. 1 Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
The thing that worries me a bit about this whole audio situation is that I haven't read a statement for Eichhorst nor Pearlman in support of Pelini after these events just yet. Sipple tweeted something trying to get some answers from Pearlman and it was followed up by this: Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip15h Just called Harvey Perlman for possible update regarding Pelini. "I know why you're calling, but I'm not saying anything." Do they owe the fans and media a statement in support of Bo!? I don't know how to really answer that I guess...what's damning is that these two individuals have really been on the down low during this matter. I just started to get worried about Bo's job last night in light of all the stupid ass rumors floating around...I hope Bo keeps his job and rights the ship....have to wait and see. If Perlman or the Ad hasn't come out in support of Bo yet they are more than likely getting a list of candidates ready. The fact that both of them haven't come out in support of Bo to quash this situation shows you how they probably don't Bo support anymore. Quote Link to comment
