StPaulHusker
Rivals- "He isn't a top 10 TE." He's rated at 90 (ATH) on Rivals. Only 4 spots below the #1 TE in the country and 16 spots ahead of the #2 TE. Yeah. This makes sense Quote Link to comment

They are if rating him as just a TE he'd take a drop in rankings. Quote Link to comment

That seems a bit absurd. He's better than that by a mile at TE Quote Link to comment

I still think he'd much more influential on the game on defense. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
A couple of the national Rivals guys commenting on the 5 Star Challenge. Said he had trouble getting separation and has average hands. That's probably where the comments above about his TE ranking are coming from. Doesn't sound like they consider him an elite TE prospect. Several recruiting guys have said for some time now that he has more upside at LB. So his ATH ranking is up there because he has the potential to play multiple spots but it doesn't sound like many think he has as high of a ceiling at TE. Quote Link to comment

Hunter94
we don't seem to use our TE's as true weapons anyway.........not sure we need another LB? Quote Link to comment
NM11046
Can you ever have enough lb's? Good one? Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Also I would reconsider how much we use our tight ends after this season, I think your opinion may change about that. Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
Also I would reconsider how much we use our tight ends after this season, I think your opinion may change about that. At 28 receptions for under 300 yards, I'd expect that number to double this fall Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
I'm sure he's willing to do whatever we ask of him Quote Link to comment
famoustitles
I bet he'd be a really good guard if he gained 80 lbs Quote Link to comment
Ed Helms
we don't seem to use our TE's as true weapons anyway.........not sure we need another LB? Well I guess Riley should just go ahead and rescind the offer.... Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
I have to agree with Sam on this one: Now, perhaps because there’s nothing better to do with an elite in-state athlete but kibbitz, every other conversation I hear about the guy is “well, where’s he going to play?” In a couple years, here’s where Jurgens will play: Starter.
