Hayseed
Same old story....QB with bad judgement....defense that gives up big plays...still plenty of time to win this though. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
25 turnovers this seasonWould be a lot more if DB's had soft hands That spells 6-6 at best in most casesBut NU will be the best 5-7 team in the country!! Season grade: C. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
That's on Langsdorf. Quit calling long passing plays into the wind, bottom line. This. So much this. See ya Langs. Call Tom Herman. Now. Immediately after this game Couldn't agree more. It is clear that this staff makes poor decisions. There is a reason why they are career 500 coaches. Tom Herman would be a welcome change. TA's poor decisions play into this. Not necessarily their fault. It is their fault that that they do not coach him to make better decisions or bench him. BoNeyard
3rd and 3, here comes the deep pass. Langs's favourite play and TA will choose the receiver who is double coverage. Quote Link to comment
Decked
Langsdorf is calling an average game. However, Tommy during the entire season has made him look probably worse than he really is Quote Link to comment
huskerfan74
End this experiment and call Les Miles right away. Reily does not even have a winners look on his face. He already looks defeated. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
That's on Langsdorf. Quit calling long passing plays into the wind, bottom line. You've got double coverage, and it's on the OC for his QB throwing into that? How many times has Tommy done the same silly mistake all year long trying to hit a HR ball? As a veteran QB, if the play isn't there, you gotta know to eat it and get what you can or throw it away. If you have a QB who isn't willing to do that, no matter how many times he has been coached to do so, that's simply on the QB. Then it's time to hold him accountable and bench him for a drive or two. Give him the Spurrier treatment Quote Link to comment
olddominionhusker
I dont see how anyone can watch this team and think they are well coached. Yes TA sucks but if you are going to go with him dont put him in positions which expose his flaws over and over again. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
25 turnovers this season and -14 on the season. In other words Iowa is +14 now. My guess is that we are undefeated if we are plus 14 We haven't been + or even = to turnovers in the last like 5 years. We've consistantly been - for too long and its really hard to win giving up the ball so often and not getting any ourselves. Quote Link to comment

Touchdown Tommie
TA makes the stupid decisions...he looks for the deep ball and rarely checks down. 1 Quote Link to comment

Hayseed
A must score drive here. No TD and we can applaud Iowa on a heck of a season and wish them luck in the Big Ten championship game. Yeah, it looks like Iowa learned how to not play like us. Last year they were the ones who beat themselves doing stupid things. Quote Link to comment

The Duke
That's on Langsdorf. Quit calling long passing plays into the wind, bottom line. I actually liked the call in that situation. I agree with you that doing it going against the wind might not have been the best, but Iowa's safeties were cheating up. Tommy simply: Is making poor decisions. He's trying to make the Hero play, instead of the SMART play. Using poor mechanics. Throwing off his back foot. Forcing it into coverage. Needs to learn when his #1 & 2 options are not their he either must find his check down, run, or just throw the damn ball away to live another down. He is a Captain, but is not leading this team by the way he is choosing to play the game. His decisions are costing this team a chance at a win. His decisions are not helping his defense or special teams who have played a fairly decent game. This will be a big offseason for Mr. Tommy Armstrong. Quote Link to comment
