In a heartbeat I would take a chance on a 3 year job, even if it just doubled my yearly income. Most of you would as well Riley was a multi-millionaire before he became coach at Nebraska (judging solely from his length of time as a HC at multiple jobs). Chances are high he has already established generational wealth. I really think he took the job as a challenge. Usually when people make a move to a new career/company money usually checks in at #8 or #9 on the list. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
KC beats Denver and they shake hands and compliment each other for a good game. Write about that s#!t! Quote Link to comment

JJ Husker
I can’t begrudge the coaches, players and even some unnamed recruiting assistant enjoying the win. I’d be pretty disappointed if they made that fourth quarter comeback and weren’t a little excited even if it was against perennial cellar dweller Purdue (who was favored over us). I’m not sure “write about that sh#t” is a well advised comment considering but I sure understand how the microscope and barrage of negativity could be getting to them so I’m not going to make a big deal out of it. I’m still ready to move forward with a new coach but I’m glad the team won and I’m glad they still seem to care enough to at least beat Purdue. I’m sure not counting any remaining game a victory at this point so good job Huskers. 1 Quote Link to comment

Players are probably tired of all of the ragging on their coach, deserved or not. Well they could always play better and, I don't know, maybe win their games. Maybe try that. 2 Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
Let's keep supporting the team! Three more games in the regular season, one at home. I can't wait for the Husker highlight show where you only see the good plays....not where we're on the 10 1/2 and we throw the fade to the short guy in the corner of the endzone. I don't need to see that one again. GBR!! Quote Link to comment
