bleedNUred
I think he deserves a second chance, and if he can help our football team then great. If he messes up again then let him go. Quote Link to comment
kalbo
Likely Frost and crew have done a bit of background research; interviews, character surveys, etc cetera before staking a bit of their (and somewhat the program's) reputation on the future behavior of a player with one strike already... 1 Quote Link to comment
I am I
Banderas and some other players by all accounts had a bicycle theft program on campus for bikes left after school was out. He got a second chance. I say say give this kid a second chance. 2 Quote Link to comment

The kid used some stolen credit card numbers. I know I have stolen things in my past. I'm not proud of it, but a lot of people do stupid things as 18-20 year old kids. Yeah this applies to me too. What he did definitely should not automatically end his college football career. 1 Quote Link to comment

As I understand it, Bando and buddies gathered up the bikes that had been chained up for weeks around campus and were left abandoned when everyone went home for summer. I'm not saying what he did was right. It was stealing. OTOH, at some point the University would have gathered those bikes up and hauled them off someplace. That said, I don't think the credit card theft should necessarily end Kadeem Telfort's college career. 1 Quote Link to comment
Toe
I keep thinking back to Alex Lewis. Different crimes, but... I'm leaning toward nope. 1 Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
If he was 6' 3", his actions would be inexcusable. But 6' 6"? We could use some of that. 8 Quote Link to comment

Some conflicting statements - will he be eligible to play in August or have to wait until our Conference Championship() game? Quote Link to comment

He’s a 2019 class kid. He was at Florida last year, now he’s at junior college. He will be able to play for the Husker’s the 2019 football season. Without sitting out. if he were to come directly to Nebraska right now he would have to sit out a year. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I struggle with the "2nd chances" justification when we're talking about as many a 30 charges. 30 strikes and your out, I've always said. 6 Quote Link to comment
