Other reports over the weeks indicate that The Virus was man made. So... if it was man made, how does this affect our view of the Big Ten decision? Did they already have evidence that the virus was man made and thus not subject to normal rules of how natural viruses operate? And if so, does that make their decision to cancel or postpone fall football more sensible? Would they have been afraid to disclose this fact of being man-made so not to spill the beans to the general public and create panic? Maybe they were ORDERED not to disclose this? Or, are they still just a group of Doofuses who were making things up as they went along? Mods, can we move this to the Roundball Shaman Thread? A thread dedicated to posting and quarantining every post Roundball Shaman makes? 5 1 Quote Link to comment

HuskerNation1
I have seen various reports of the October 17 start date. If that were to be true, does anyone know how many total games would be played? It would seem 7 or 8 or so would be the max if they wanted to be finished by mid-December in time for the CFP and bowl season. If that is the case, one simple way of doing it would be to have the West play against each other, the East play against each other, and then each time would play 1 or 2 crossover games, and the winners will face off in a CCG which would be December 12. Outside of the CFP, has there been any indication of whether the other bowls will be played? If so, I am assuming the 6 game threshold to qualify for a bowl may be modified for this season. Notre Dame Joe
If they truly formed a "Return to Competition Committee" then they intend to return to competition. I really wanted to double my college football watching season. But the Rose Bowl is important enough to compress your season in time to make it. 2 Quote Link to comment
