all of the above needs to kick rocks. There has been minimal progress on the top 2 and Chins philosophy is sooooooo passing prevent coverage aligned... we’re in the f’n big 10 playing a December game against the best back in the league... coach against that accordingly for Christ sake

Sh***y special teams, turnover, penalties. That's our identity. Has been for five straight seasons now.

 

You can hate these teams in the West that play a more boring style of big, physical football...but every single one of them is well-coached. Our fundamentals are terrible and there's not really much to look forward to.

 

We are Illinois at this point and there's no arguing it at all.

We had two turnovers, Martinez couldn’t hit the broadside of the barn, and minny ran the same 4 plays over and over and ate the clock/field. Missed field goa. But yeah, the refs lost us this game.

It was over at the first 1st down. Even if we stopped them on the previous one, we still would have had to throw the ball to try and score 6. And that’s not happening this year. 2AM has lost all confidence in his throws.
