We play 12 games this year- Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio state out recruit us. 12-3=9. We don’t always play 2 of the 3 big10 East powers every year and normally don’t have our non con game as talented as Oklahoma. So I bet most years we outrecruit 10-11 of our opponents. Show me those players.........We do have better talent today than we had 3 years ago, and I think we are getting more talent and experience. Talent aside, we need to mental talent right now, whether it be players or coaches. Fix that first. Believing we can win first. Fanbase included. So I am still in the camp of giving Frost one more year. I think at this point were the fools if we fire another coach after 3 or 4 seasons. At least give him one more year to stop that national image from completely ruining this storied program. It is now up to Trev. He has to make this decision and make it work for all sides. If Trev needs to tell Frost that the scheme and staff are junk try something else then that needs to be said. I am sure the decision has been made either way. Trev and the University should make it public sooner than later regardless of which way it goes. Waiting until the end of the season does no one any good. Too much speculation is not good either way no matter which side your on. So Frost has failed to recruit talented enough players or even instill some mental toughness but if the University gives him on more year he might do what he has failed to do in 4 years? No one in the national media is going to judge the AD to harshly if he fires a coach that after 4 years is one of the worst coaches the University has ever seen. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

NowledgeableFan
Frost gets one more year. Change some coaches and goal would be to make a bowl game. If you don't make a bowl game - goodbye. 2 Quote Link to comment

Like Callahan he hitched his wagon to his assistants he brought here. That and sticking with AM and not developing another QB. That’ll be his downfall. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

All he would have to do is beat NW, North Dakota, Georgia Southern, Rutgers, Indiana and 1more team in the B1G West. Is that actually improvement? That is literally what he has done years 1-4. We don't and never expected it to be the 2nd coming of Vince Lombardi but it is ridiculous to what we will now expect as acceptable. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

And do any of us believe that will happen under this staff? Frost has had 4 years to get to a bowl game. A bowl game. Not a double digit win total, not finishing in the top 2 of the West. Hell not even beating Wisconsin and Iowa. Literally just getting to 6 wins. Show some level of improvement in the W/L column in 4 years. Those of us who are saying it is time to move on lowered our bar to 6 wins. I would not have said that for Riley, for Pelini or for Callahan. With all of our resources etc we have no reason to not get to 6 wins by year 4. 4 1 Quote Link to comment

UND and Georgia southern sure. NW is always a toss up- doesn't matter if we blew them out this year. Indiana beat Frost before. Rutgers is likely a win, but a Schiano Rutgers isn't a guaranteed win- we don't really have those with Frost. I mean we probably could make 5 or 6. But then if you fire frost, which you totally should in that case, recruiting has bombed and you give the new coach the tougher 2023 schedule. Quote Link to comment
