  2. maybe that's how they got Satterfield to switch. Rhule: "hey Mark. We are looking at making some staff changes. You okay continuing to coach Haarberg?" Satterfield: "Yes. Thank you!" Rhule (walking out the office door): "We moved him to TE..."

  3. for Heaven's sake, look at the actual released video's of what you call and insurrection on J6... The only severe crime done on that day was by a DC police officer and the fbi plants. It's a travesty that so many people are unjustly being criminalized. So tired of both sides that spout opinions while ignoring facts of which, the DC J6 event was then and is still far less costly to actual vandalism then any one of the multitudes of protests that occurred for real crimes. Yet we constantly here from both sides how terrorized our Politian's were. It takes less than 15 mins of research to see just how peaceful the J6 protest was. (the security was literally escorting people around showing them the building, scary right?) Please do this country a favor and put it away. Politian's are liars regardless of what side they're on. They speak, they lie!! Most of the national media too. Fox = liars, MSNBC = liars, CNN/ABC Nightly/CBS Corespondence/etc etc... - all liars, all the time. Push an agenda and lie lie lie. Journalism died when journalist's were not permitted to provide source links in their articles. (source links that can be fact checked) Now I've been suckered into spotting off.. hate that but J6 pisses me off. Below is the costliest civil disorders. Notice J6 isn't listed. Hmmm.... wonder why? Because the media & politian's are liars!!! Rant Over!! Fact: Costliest U.S. civil disorders Includes riots and civil disorders causing insured losses to the insurance industry Dates Location Dollars 2020 dollars May 26-June 8, 2020 20 states across U.S. $1-2b $1-2b Apr. 29-May 4, 1992 Los Angeles, CA 775m 1.42b Aug. 11-17, 1965 Los Angeles, CA 44m 357m Jul. 23, 1967 Detroit, MI 42m 322m May 17-19, 1980 Miami, Fl 65m 204m Apr. 4-9, 1968 Washington, DC 24m 179m Jul. 13-14, 1977 New York, NY 28m 118m Jul. 12. 1967 Newark, NJ 15m 115m Apr. 6-9, 1968 Baltimore, MD 14m 104m Apr. 4-11, 1968 Chicago, IL 13m 97m

  4. Just curious what conclusions can be jumped to. Started in Atlanta the same year Matt Ryan was a rookie. Atlanta Falcons Offensive Assistant (Ryan's stats): 2008 - 61.1%, 16/11 TD/INT, 7.9 ypa 2009 - 58.3%, 22/14, 6.5 2010 - 62.5%, 28/9, 6.5 2011 - 61.3%, 29/12, 7.4 Atlanta Falcons QB Coach: 2012 - 68.6%, 32/14, 7.7 2013 - 67.4%, 26/17, 6.9 2014 - 66.1%, 28/14, 7.5 Temple: 2014 (before GT) - 200 ypg, 53.1%, 13/16, 6.0 2015 (QB Coach) - 217 ypg, 56.9%, 20/8, 6.9 2016 (OC/QB) - 237 ypg, 57.6%, 22/13, 8.2 Baylor: 2016 (before GT) - 280 ypg, 56.0%, 33/15, 7.6 2017 (OC/QB) - 287 ypg, 58.2%, 23/14, 7.5 2018 (OC/QB) - 290 ypg, 60.9%, 22/13, 7.8 2019 (OC/QB) - 255 ypg, 62.4%, 24/8, 8.0 UNLV: 2019 (before GT) - 206 ypg, 53.6%, 20/12, 6.4 2020 (OC/QB) - 185 ypg, 58.7%, 6/4, 5.7 *COVID 2021 (OC/QB) - 202 ypg, 58.4%, 11/14, 7.3 Arizona State: 2021 (before GT) - 194 ypg, 65.8%, 12/10, 8.1 2022 (OC/QB) - 251 ypg, 66.8%, 18/10, 7.5 There's some extenuating circumstances in about all of those - Ryan starting as a rookie was likely to improve, PJ Walker was also young before GT took over at Temple, Baylor was a mess, UNLV had COVID in the mix - but there seems to be a noticeable improvement in stats after he took over direct control. And he's got a lot of OC experience so he hopefully has some good input into the overall offense.

  8. This quote implied it imo - "I'm just glad the new coach didn't end up being Ryan Day. Or Dan Lanning from Oregon. If either of those guys went to Tuscaloosa, I don't think Alabama would ever lose more than one championship every 5 years." No stress, your perspective just seemed weird to me. On paper, everything suggests DeBoer to be the better hire. I guess time will tell if his system will work in the SEC.

  9. Most true patriots felt very upset that a group of people were breaking windows and scaling the walls of the US Capitol Building trying to enter and ransack Congressional offices. This wasn’t a group of people looting a WalMart. FFS man!

  11. The reason the word "insurrection" will always be accurate is because the mob was breaking into the building to stop the certification of the 2020 election that was taking place at that moment, a disruption President Trump was encouraging through a variety of channels including demanding his own vice-president subvert the Constitution. Many of the perpetrators announced their intentions prior to arriving in Washington, promoted them live during the Capitol invasion, bragged about them afterwards, and plead guilty when arrested. If you want to offend these brave patriots who were trying to save America from Joe Biden, tell them they were just being tourists that day.

  12. Tell that to the people who died and were severely injured. The cost of riot (insurrection in this case) isn't always measure in dollars and cents. This insurrection was against the very heart of our democracy - led by a cowardly thug who sat in the WH throwing ketchup at the wall. There is much more at stake than just a building - what did it do to our nation's psych, our image and respect for laws and institutions. All of those riots you listed in the 1960s and 70s - I remember - I lived through all of them and saw them all on the news. I also remember their affect on the moral and mindset of the nation - affects that lasted longer than the burning of a building. Wake up and get out of the cult thinking frame of mind.

  14. I just imagine Trump, Haley, and DeSantis advancing nearly exact immigration policies --- some of it for campaign theater, and some of it legit. I would also be shocked if Biden and the Dems don't serve up something tougher sounding, some of it for campaign theater, some of it legit. Most Americans would prefer NATO countries kick in their fair share, though I'd guess that would fall super low on awareness and priorities. But if this is a simple monetary enforcement of an existing international defense agreement, it would still make Donald Trump a globalist. Does the anti-globalist consider weakening or abandoning NATO entirely? That would be the dream of both the anti-globalist and Vladimir Putin, and it's already part of the GOP discussion. NAFTA is/was full of strange bedfellows. I'd totally support bipartisan forensics on how it worked, and didn't and use it as a cautionary tale. Again, hard to say if or why Haley and DeSantis would come at it differently. Once in office you see how the sausage is really made and you have to decide whether to make complex choices or keep pandering to your base. Yeah, we've been the world's police going on 80 years now and our interests have been both obvious and murky. If you limited our interests to the free flow of mideast oil and the countries where America's most valuable companies do their biggest business, you'd still have your finger in almost everything.

  16. I know. I was saying that it would be more beneficial to him to come here as a OC then a analyst. Since he isn't going to be the new OC here there aren't many benefits to him to come here and be a analyst in my mind.

  29. They are considerable in number, so they're a large minority as minorities go. But that allows them to still feel victimized by the elites -- a feeling shared by many centrists. And when you've placed God and manifest destiny on your side, you don't look back or engage you doubts. You're fully empowered. If you've been taught to view the media, the academics, and the scientists as the enemy, no facts are going to slow you down. The biggest Nazi parallel I see is that Hitler tapped into the entire German people feeling humiliated by World War I and began casting around for blame. It wasn't so much the Jews at first; it was the feckless political parties, including socialists, right/center appeasers, and old school Hindenburg loyalists that had sold out Germany to the global interests. Wouldn't it be nice for Germans to feel great again? Hitler did his best work in beer halls and stadiums. The ruling parties and plenty of Germans recognized Hitler and the Nazis as thugs and theatrical provocateurs, but considered them an extremist minority about to wear out their welcome. And of course the right center party figured they could use the Nazis for certain needs and coalitions, but otherwise keep them in check.

  33. Bc I could see him sitting back and trying to improve and learning on his own time and not being locked in to one set program. Plus I believe but I could be wrong is that he is still getting payed from Houston after getting fired. If he did come here as a OC and did improve the offense there would be more programs that would be interested in the how instead of being a analyst where he wouldn't necessarily get the credit for the improvement. Also most former head coaches go to Alabama as analyst to improve their stock not Nebraska where they are trying to learn how to win.
