  1. The issues were on Offense and some Special Teams. You want to ride Satterfield for a few years in an era where talent goes to greener pastures in hopes he comes around? One of the many knocks on the guy is he is too complex with his playbook. Couple that with this - did you see any improvement from our QB room at all? We have a coach who we want to give more time, in hopes he can be developed, in an era where talent flees in an expeditious fashion, because looking for better coaches and proven commodities is...not the right thing to do? Satterfield is a weak link in the tied-for-second most important coaching role on the team. Let's now build strategic foundations around this fact and all of this "time" we have for him to come around, fingers-crossed hopefulness, and coins in wishing wells. Glad he's removed from QB oversight. Next good move will be to remove his play calling duties. Give him more time to come into his own as a budding OC...

  2. So you actually expected to see improvement in the QB room when the raw materials were Sims, Haarburg and an injured Purdy? And you blame Satt for that? SMH

  7. Well the Lincoln Project douches aren't running for President, so they can say whatever they want and that makes them more entertaining. I've never quite understood their end game, but they were douches before they broke with the Republican Party. They're also pretty sharp insiders, and they are certainly better at messaging than the Democrats. I also don't think Nikki and the Lincoln Project guys are close on messaging at all, regardless of personality. Again, given everything you post on here — wanting the GOP to get out of the Trump clown car and focus on core conservative policy — I would think you'd find kindred spirits in the Lincoln Project guys and Liz Cheney. Yet it's just the opposite.

  10. I think its mind boggling that some cant see that there is a difference between coaching QB's and overseeing an offense as well as the benefit of having continuity in that group as a whole.. those that want to out an OC after a first yr start up with all the issues that were faced, boggle my mind... maybe Satt is over his head and maybe Rhule is setting the table for that scenario, only TIME will tell... That is the difference between a good head coach and a knee jerk reaction..

  12. In the late fall of 2017, you couldn't find anyone who would argue that Scott Frost wasn't qualified to be a P5 head coach, or that Nebraska wasn't lucky he was a legacy, letting them steal Frost from big name P5 schools courting him. Nebraska fans were joyous, but their expectations were reasonable: Scott just had to be better than Mike Riley. He also had to be better than angry drunken gamblers who trash everyone on fansite bulletin boards, which is a pretty low bar. Turns out Scott was a bit of a d!(k, and a less than inspirational example of leadership. Maybe a lot of it revolves around his questionable behavior and troubled personal life. If that's the case, maybe he can still pull a Steve Sarkasian, who seemed to slur himself out of a career just a few years ago. But it's silly to act all knowing in hindsight, or to blame anything on the sanity of Husker fans.

  19. I was just reading about a guy with bad charges (hurting kids) and shocking...he made it about a year until he was killed. I guess they just could not revive him once they finally found him! Hahaha I know we have the "prison is bad and executions are bad" crowd but all I can say is...good riddance.

  23. I read somewhere that Rhule wanted a designated QB coach last year, but the guy they wanted turned him down. (guy from 49ers?) Satt was always supposed to be OC and TE coach but, he was thrown into being QB coach because of this. So, now, the staff is more in line with what Rhule originally wanted. I'm not sure all of this is because Rhule was unhappy with what the offense looked like last year. It might be more of what his long term goal has always been.

  24. While I have NO idea the stats on that...But I know a lot of people personally that got the booster that did get covid. I am guessing we all do. As far as MORE likely, I don't see why that would be the case, unless you felt that the with the booster would not get it and it was okay to be close to people? But that just doesn't seem accurate. Also, I feel like we are past the Covid politics.

  28. Like I previously said and you failed to comprehend or chose to ignore, the end result is not what you should focus on. It’s the attempt and the attached erosion of what has kept us a democracy for so long. Or is your story now that Trump would not punish those who oppose him, that he would not place puppets in positions of power? That he learned nothing about where he failed on his first run at subverting an election? They were just rowdy tourists, amiright? You sure do place a lot of trust in Trump’s good nature. Yeah yeah, obligatory “I won’t vote for him” bs. If you think he is not a danger and damaging to our democracy, I don’t know what else to tell ya. It wouldn’t do any good anyway, proven by your failures so far. You keep saying you’re going to vote for Desantis. Unfortunately for you he isn’t going to be on the ballot. I think we all fully understand what you’ll do at that point. I mean why should we take you at your word, you won’t even take Trump at his own words.

  30. At the end of the day I don't think I'd put much thought into this job title. It's not an atypical setup for Rhule. Unless Rhule announces differently, expect Satterfield to remain the primary play caller. What this does do, though, is bring a much needed veteran into the offensive staff because overall it's a very young and inexperienced gameday coaching staff. At the end of the day, Rhule is the final arbiter and he has a certain philosophy. That manifests itself differently at different stops. At Temple it was a bit more run centric, at Baylor a bit more pass centric, but there is a common philosphy in terms of how he wants to manage the game at both places and Glenn experienced that with him at both places. With Raiola coming in as almost certain starter, we are going to see that transition immediately and for the same reason we did between Temple and Baylor....the athletes changed. It was the expected hire and a good hire. If the offense doesn't see some significant improvement after all of this investment this year, then I'd expect some major changes.

  37. Just because some posters might say 2 plus 2 is 5 doesn’t mean I have to believe that fairy tale either Like I told you before. You all can do the worrying for the rest of us and Feel free to give me a ring in 2029 when DJT doesn’t leave the WH or he claims that DT Jr is automatically installed as “President” with no election (like you suggested could happen). It’s just tin foil fear mongering IMO until we get to that point and I will PROFUSELY grovel and apologize if/when that happens. And I expect you will do the same when it doesn’t.

You nor anyone else has yet to walk me through the step by step process of how DJT gets from Point A (elected President) to Point B (Declared Dictator who never has to leave office) within 3 1/2 years.
