  1. Yeah, noted truth teller Vladimir Putin certainly has no vested interest in helping Trump and Republicans win again by tapping into the gullibility of conservative America. I mean, who are you going to believe? Vladimir Putin or the 275,000 dead Russian soldiers currently fertilizing Ukrainian soil largely because of American military equipment and intelligence delivered by the Biden Administration? Honestly Archy1221, and I mean this sincerely, what you believe in is not only bad for America. But your understanding of the world around you is deeply flawed, and when you take that flawed and seriously under developed understanding of the world and fill out a ballot it's bad for the world. So, please, stop doing it.

  4. This is a pretty good summary. Trump won because he tapped into white conspiratorial anger. Nobody wants to admit this because it's a confession that these people are dangerous. So we tip toe around it by coming up with alternatives to rationalize why Trump won, whether it was a savvy campaign (it wasnt) that Trump was a good candidate (he isn't) or that Hillary was a worse candidate (partially true). The reality is more banal. Trump simply harnessed the anger that has been boiling under white grievance. Now, Republicans throw gasoline and fuel this anger to serve their political goals. It's really that simple. A voter base that is now completely disconnected from reality, ready to be angry at whatever is thrown at them.

  6. What does this mean? Is this guy an elected official or a candidate for office or something? Truthfully, Democrats and people on the left who do hold dumb views on Gaza - including any moron who claims its a 'genocide' - needs to be put on a rocket ship and launched into the nearest super massive black hole, never to be seen or heard from again. Don't make the mistake of thinking I agree with every online lefty nutjob just because I mock and deride Trump voters. I vote for Democrats because it's the only (often stupid, often with bad ideas) option to choose from.

  7. Yup. It's astonishing. I mean, the idea of Putin preferring Biden - who is currently trying to give Ukraine billions of dollars worth of military equipment - in lieu of Trump who's party doesn't want to give Ukraine military equipment... is just insane.

  9. IV. Persecuting his Perceived Political Enemies Trump said, “As soon as I am reelected, I will appoint a real special counsel, or maybe you’ll call him a special prosecutor, whatever you want to call it … to look at all of these bribes, kickbacks, and other crimes, as well as the shameless attempt at a coverup. Justice will be done. The Biden crime family will be looked at. We have to get there first, we have to win the election. They’re trying to step in my way at every path because the one person they don’t want to run is Donald Trump. But when we get there, the Biden crime family will pay a price like other people are being forced to pay. And that price will be very, very substantial.” Trump said: “If I happen to be president, and I see somebody who’s doing well and beating me very badly, I say, ‘Go down and indict them.’ Mostly that would be, you know, they’d be out of business. They’d be out of the election.” Trump said, “This is third-world-country stuff, ‘arrest your opponent.’ And that means I can do that, too.” As President, Trump repeatedly told his Chief of Staff John Kelly that he wanted the IRS to investigate several of his perceived political enemies, including former FBI director James Comey and deputy director Andrew McCabe. Both Comey and McCabe were subsequently subjected to a rare, intensive IRS audit that affects only one out of every 30,600 tax filers. Trump has expressed support for executing high-ranking American government officials, and while in office he used the levers of government to harass and intimidate his political opponents. Trump’s words and actions suggest he would interfere with or stop prosecutions of his political allies. On Jan. 6, 2021 Trump expressed support for the January 6 rioters who were chanting, “hang Mike Pence,” including commenting that Pence “deserve[d]” it. Trump claimed in an interview with the New York Times in December 2017 to have “an absolute right to do what I want with the Justice Department.”

  10. Only a wannabe dictator would think he needs complete immunity from the rule of law. III. Subverting the Rule of Law to Protect Himself from Prosecution "Trump wrote, “A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES MUST HAVE FULL IMMUNITY, WITHOUT WHICH IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM/HER TO PROPERLY FUNCTION. ANY MISTAKE, EVEN IF WELL INTENDED, WOULD BE MET WITH ALMOST CERTAIN INDICTMENT BY THE OPPOSING PARTY AT TERM END. EVEN EVENTS THAT “CROSS THE LINE” MUST FALL UNDER TOTAL IMMUNITY, OR IT WILL BE YEARS OF TRAUMA TRYING TO DETERMINE GOOD FROM BAD…ALL PRESIDENTS MUST HAVE COMPLETE & TOTAL PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY, OR THE AUTHORITY & DECISIVENESS OF A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WILL BE STRIPPED & GONE FOREVER.” "Trump’s legal team argued before the DC Court of Appeals that a president could direct SEAL Team Six to assassinate his political opponent and be immune from prosecution."

  12. II. Day 1 Dictatorship Promise: Energy and the Environment "Trump plans to violate statutory requirements by using administrative agencies within the executive branch to promulgate rules that prevent oversight and regulation required by Congress." "For instance, Congress passed the bipartisan Toxic Substances Control Act in 2016, but Trump’s EPA illegally withheld chemical safety studies where public disclosure was required, violated the law’s requirements to review new chemicals, and refused to ask companies to disclose data required under the law.''' "Trump has called for dismantling the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Trump’s 2024 plan includes “systematically dismantling” the EPA, including cutting funding, rolling back regulations, forging closer ties to the fossil-fuel industry, and loosening fuel economy standards."

It'll be interesting to see how wide spread those undecided votes are throughout the state. I doubt it'll make much difference nationally in Nov, blue no matter who. Guess who Michigan Dems nominated for president in 1972: "If you choose not to decide, you've still made a choice."

How can a border bill that hasn't passed legalize anything? I'm genuinely unsure of what this even means. Also, I hope you understand that your use of "The Big Guy" screens "I fall for Kremlin propaganda easily", my advice is to recognize this and to support political causes that aren't so easily influenced by foreign adversaries.

  21. Your view of the world and voting has gotten us…..a world currently in flux, Russia feeling the need to attack its neighbors (weird how it didn’t happen in 2016-2020, a southern border in ruins (great work on that one!), a healthcare law that skyrocketed premiums (gee thanks!), a judicial system where activist judges allow criminals to roam free on cashless bail to commit crime after crime before finally coming before a judge (if ever. Man society is really proud of that one guys), constant protests because your side thinks Palestinian terrorists are being treated bad…and on and on and on and on…. Now even though your world view is no bueno, I hope you keep voting because that’s what countless men and women have died for. Your right to be wrong at the voting booth. When you have good advice I would probably take it. Until then I’ll continue to pass on your drivel (btw….get some new lines. The current ones are getting a bit stale)

  22. Creighton's NET is 11. Nebraska's is 41. Simplest way to describe the discrepancy. Don't bother with the polls they don't mean much for March Madness. For further reason as to why they look different with similar records is that the B1G isn't very good and if I remember right we only got Purdue, Illinois, Wiscy, and MSU once so really about as weak of a conference SOS as you can get. Creighton is also tied for the most road wins in the Power 6 which the computers love, something basically every pundit said for weeks was holding Nebraska's resume back.

  23. Except this is the opposite of happy hour. People will show up for cheap drinks. A burger that costs more than usual at lunchtime….not so much. But IDK, I’m not really their target demographic. I prob had Wendys only 2 or 3 times in the last year. I always thought fast food places loved it when cars were piled up in the drive thru while they had peak staffing scheduled. I mean it’s not like they really care about food quality or good service. I guess they want to profit even more for people with bad attitudes to throw s#!tty food in a bag and then tell you to pull ahead and wait to get the wrong things.

  24. If they didn’t want illegal alien criminals roaming free, they wouldn’t be allowing them to roam free. There are so many examples of the Left not wanting them immediately deported, that it’s not in question that they want them here. Im with ya though. Sounds totally absurd, and out of the realm of possibility, yet here we are.

  26. I. Day One Dictator Promise: Immigration "Next we will implement strong ideological screening of all immigrants to the United States. No longer will we allow dangerous lunatics, haters, bigots, and maniacs to get residency in our country. We’re not gonna let them stay here. We’re…gonna have the largest deportation effort in history.” "You’re disqualified if you’re a Communist, a Marxist, or a Fascist, other than the people that are already here you are, of which many are in the Biden administration, you’re disqualified. We’d like to get them out too. Maybe we’ll work on that.” “We’re going to keep foreign, Christian-hating communists, Marxists and socialists out of America." Trump also said that there was a need for a “new law” to address Americans he characterizes as communists and Marxists but didn’t elaborate any further. Trump wants to refuse asylum claims by reimposing Title 42, a policy he used during Covid-19 by claiming that migrants carry infectious diseases like tuberculosis and other communicable diseases. Trump said that immigration into the United States is “poisoning the blood of our country.” “Nobody has any idea where these people are coming from, and we know they come from prisons. We know they come from mental institutions and insane asylums. We know they’re terrorists. Nobody has ever seen anything like we’re witnessing right now. It is a very sad thing for our country. It’s poisoning the blood of our country. It’s so bad, and people are coming in with disease. People are coming in with every possible thing that you could have.”

  28. This is a funny way of saying "tapped into rural white voter xenophobia, stupidity, and anger" by saying and doing things Republicans were worried about doing for decades. Trump just had the shameless ability to tap into it. Furthermore, the extreme irony of you saying Trump supporters don't like it when elites like Hillary Clinton think they're above the law is... beyond parody. You, a two time Trump voter, grifted into supporting a rapist-career-criminal-and-con-artist, are actually saying it's because Trump supporters care about politicians following the law? Please Archy1221, I beg you, stop being involved in politics. It's not for you. And understand that there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Stop watching Newsmax, end your Brietbart subscription, and spend your emotional energy on your family or something. Whatever it is, stop voting. Disengage from politics all together.

  30. Worthley pitched last year. After his rough go last week, a few people on fb/x/etc. were sh***ing all over him saying he sucked last year and should never pitch again, even though he had some spots where he looked like he had a lot of potential that just needed some experience. I know fans overreact (myself included) but the hate was weird. But yeah I'd give Christo the nod too because the guy was limited due to some kind of injury or something, so they're not cutting him all the way loose it sounds like. He made a case for a weekend spot with Walsh and Clark being a little less effective this series. The Charleston series should tell us a lot.

  34. Here's a good detailed analysis of the threat to democracy of second Trump term and the GOP's plan to install an autocracy. "As Alyssa Farah Griffin, former Trump White House Director of Strategic Communications, noted, “Fundamentally, a second Trump term could mean the end of American democracy as we know it, and I don’t say that lightly.”. She's only one of many former Trump officials who are sounding the alarm. Why would that be? MAGA will tell you it's all because they are "Deep State". Occam's Razor would suggest that it's because autocracy is exactly Trump's and the GOP's goal. A long thread expanding on the evidence. 35. Trump won because of the following: He was willing to talk about the border issues and make it a central theme. He campaigned in the upper Midwest and HRC didn’t. HRC was un-likable and people rightfully believed HRC thought she was above the law with her deleted emails and illegal server. People didn’t like that.

That he was gonna gut SS and throw grandma off a cliff. That he was a Private Equity robber Barron that didn’t care about Black people. Ahhhhh, but now people long for the sensible Romney Remember way back in the Time Machine when McCain was just a war monger and racist for wanting to “finish the dang fence”. When he was too old to elect. Ohhh, but now we would all vote for them. Gotcha. Cheney….well I mean do we really need to go down that road and see what the Left thought of her pre-Trump?? I didn’t think so.

  39. How can a border bill that hasn't passed legalize anything? I'm genuinely unsure of what this even means I guess you haven’t read any part of the proposed legislation. The tough measures and border shutdown of illegal entry wouldn’t start till an average of 5,000 encounters a day occurs, which the President could suspend those measures BTW. 4,999 X 30 days X 22 = 1,799,640. I hope you understand that is Hunter Biden’s name for his old man. I’m going by what he thinks. You are falling for Kremlin propaganda by not knowing this.
