Maybe. Funny thing with games like those is the better team doesn't have much motivation going in. Wisconsin doesn't gain much from winning other than a win (i.e. they won't get more respect) and loses a lot from losing.

Great players can make up for average coaching. Great coaching can make up for lack of talent. We lack both.

We say this every go around with every set of coaches. We did the same things with Pelini and Callahan. Coaches don't typically bring in the best of the best coordinators. They want people they can actually work with.

We got our tails whipped tonight, but we lost our heart and soul. We played a hell of a game last week. Give it a week.

We've seen noticeable improvement in every aspect before a gigantic reversion tonight where we fell apart.

All that said, I have no earthly idea why Read is making Fo Fiddy. That's a horrible contract and our STs have been pretty mediocre. Some things definitely need reevaluated, but we just didn't show up for the first time all year. Face that, own it, and then move forward.
