Bo Kittrell & Jacob Weinmaster came to the running club last night to talk about the Football Road Race (to benefit Team Jack). They did a "fun facts" about them as an intro. When Kittrell was 4 years old he dressed up as Scott Frost for Halloween.

Cook exuded confidence when the season ended. Every interview, he sounded so sure of this team. Even with the tough draw, he seemed to know where they were headed. That's a coach who knows his team.

Also illustrates how good the Cornhuskers were in the pre-WWII era - they were one of the most dominant teams in the country. A lot of people tend to think of the Devaney era as being the beginning of Nebraska greatness, but really it was more like he brought the team out of a dark era and returned them to national prominence.
That previous dark age lasted about 23 years. Let's hope we can bring home a conference championship before our current drought reaches that mark...
