@methodical Those numbers are pretty high imo. Theres pretty good numbers showing 75-80% of people that get this wont show symptoms or only very mild, and they wont get tested. The amount of confirmed cases are what they are, but there are and will be ALOT of people that will have gotten it and will get it that wont be tested and wont count to that number. The amount of confirmed cases is WAY low vs actual cases. Many people saying they know people who have had it, they were around them, they themselves got mild symptoms but b/c they werent severe enough they couldnt get tested. The numbers are not true numbers really.

So potentially Nebraska’s next game will be In Ireland. Did not see that coming as I froze my feet off at the Iowa game.

Commando made me smile.  I agree.  I've been a Chiefs fan most of my life, I was around 12, there was "glory" when I first became a fan [a championship].  I've called them the Chefs for the last 15 years ... even though they are my team.  Here's hoping for a breakthrough ... just like I hope my Cornhuskers.

@teachercd a Ferrari running at 80-90% efficiency isn't so bad when you consider the alternatives. The Knicks blew free agency and missed out on every single major deal. And, they'll now will have to watch Kyrie (and an eventually healthy Durant) across town with the Nets. If anybody can come back and be close to what they were before injury, it would likely be Durant due to his play style. At the very least, Durant would've made the Knicks interesting and kept the fan base satiated while they held out for Durant to heal. Now, they're settling for R.J. Barrett. Not good, all things considered.

@Cdog923he took a shot but he dropped him.  He had it won by decision at that point anyways but its best to not go to the judges, they can bend you over, we all know this.

@Cdog923 The pen is concerning. Schanaman in particular has gotten lit to start the season. SSS though so one can hope it's just bad luck.

    3. Cdog923

      Cdog923

@Danny Bateman I'm kind of wondering if we need to find a Saturday starter and move Gomes back to the pen.

    4. Xmas32

      Xmas32

I wouldn't be entirely shocked to see Gomes end up back as a reliever when it's all said and done as he's got Brett Jensen level stuff and having a dude like that on the back end is a great weapon.  Everyone is on the absolute struggle bus when it comes to throwing strikes though which means you need to keep Gomes in the rotation.  Friday/Saturday was just bananas in terms of walks.  Gonna need guys like Blessie to step up.

  21. I look forward to reading in the Football board how those first two drops were Martinez's fault.

    1. JJ Husker

      JJ Husker

There’s definitely a few drops that were not 2AM’s fault but there are plenty of things to talk about that were his fault. 31-0 with 3 min to go in the first half looks great on the surface but I’d say it should be 45-0 without some of Adrian’s mistakes. Maryland is absolutely hapless.

    2. Cdog923

      Cdog923

@JJ Husker You aren't wrong, but not everything is automatically AMart's fault, much to the chagrin of people in the game thread.

    3. JJ Husker

      JJ Husker

@Cdog923 it’s far from all his fault. We have plenty of issues. But he is nowhere near the same player we saw last year. IDK what it is but I hope they get it figured out cuz it’s obvious Frost won’t make adjustments when his starting QB makes repeated mistakes. I hate to complain when  we’re destroying a team like this but some of his passes and decisions and not seeing open receivers....I don’t get it other than we all know he has the most potential. I just wish it would start showing more in games. It’s making me question Frost and Mario.

  22. I think we all need to exhibit some more patience and muster as much optimism for this weekend as possible. #NotAThread

  23. I was joking when I said you should bet Minny this week, but if Frost says that they have the best practice this week, I'm putting all of my savings on Bye to cover this week.
