Really Creighton Duke? We honor ours. Even had cases where kids have left the team and they were still honored. Look at Bell for instance. SEC programs are different, but we offer ONLY 4 year scholarships and we honor them unless they academically ruin it, leave the team (depending on the situation) or school.

See, there are ways around being under sanctions by the NCAA. There's always a loophole and you can get around the sanctions put forth by the governing body because they allow it.
