What we learned this week

1. That our defensive playcalling, is beyond suspect

2. Our wideouts need to cover their hands in elmer's glue

3. Worst officiating since A&M

4. Michigan's players flop, and thats just a bitchmade move

5. Why are you gonna wait until you're down 3 TD's to bust out the "good china"

6. You couldn't our guys to hang onto the ball if it was covered in $100's

Bo is nolonger 5-1 in the last 6 games of the season.....

no matter the situation...there is no way our reserves are going to get any playtime.

1. Our receivers are not reliable.

2. Austin Cassidy falls for every play action. Average tackler at best.

3. Maher can fake an injury when he drops a punt.

4. Martinez works toward the pressure when in the pocket. Something I have never seen.

5. As bad as the defense has been Baker, Martin, David, Stafford and Dennard are strong.

6. Compton is getting better.

What I really should have said: Even though the Huskers may get 10 wins this year with a win over Iowa and in a bowl game, it is frustrating to have the 3 losses the way they happened.

 

Wisonsin: National TV and embarrasing

NW: at home, unranked, Nebraska in BCS top 10. Never should have happened

Michigan: National TV and embarrasing

 

While this team, overall, can potentially still have a solid season, it is frustrating that the losses came the way they did.

 

I yearn for consistency...(like everyone else)

4. This team is probably the most inconsistent team in the nation

5. I am terrified to play in a bowl...especially if the Huskers are matched up against a team from the SEC or any team that has a somewhat mobile QB

We love inconsistency...except when it comes to losing a game. We consistently meltdown entirely during those times

We learned just how awful this team can be. They have serious preparation and motivation problems. We are not a good team and somethings simply have to change.

That, no matter how bad things got in the Big House today, I'd rather be a Husker fan right now than a Penn State fan.

I like these, except for #3. I get as upset as anybody when we lose, especially like this, but the problem most people have is that they direct their anger in the wrong direction.

 

Nonetheless, things I learned in addition to these:

-Kenny Bell is really not that good. Hasn't been able to catch the last couple weeks, and that funble on the kick return was HUGE and sent us on a downward spiral...

-Bo has learned 2 things: how to maintain composure on the sideline, and how to not blow up at the press after a bad game

-Martinez can only do so much, though he contributed to the crappiness in the end

-Lavonte David CAN be everywhere

-Beck panics with his playcalling at times
