Jeremy
Jeff Monken, Georgia Southern. Beat Florida (injury-riddled, I'll admit) without throwing the ball once. Triple option, return to tradition, ground and pound. It would do well in this conference, especially against teams like flippin iowa. Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
He also said "If they wanna fire me, fire me." You're right. He should get down on his hands and knees and beg for his job. Also, he did apologize for his language. Just thought Id throw that out there since everybody is so pissed he said a curse word. Did i say that? shut up and don't put words in people mouths. He could easily said, I'm not sure what their going to do, but I WANT to stay here." That's not begging but it also makes it sound like you give at least a single sh#t. Tells me to shut up and don't put words in peoples mouth....then goes on to say that Bo should have said this. Nice. You have little to no reading comprehension do you? I said, "He could easily have said" Not he should have said, not he needed to say, but he could easily have said. Did I put words in his mouth? Nope. But I have an opinion on what I would have said in his position is I wanted to stay in Nebraska. Am I not allowed that? Easy to say when you're not up there after a loss and people have been calling for your job for over a year. Just like its easy for us to question a play call after the fact. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
What an interview from Kenny. Excellent. Couldn't have said anything better. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
OMG people....does everyone think Bo is as good as it gets??? WTF????......we were looking for a coach when we hired him!!! Quote Link to comment
Ric Flair
Bo brought this on himself. He's acted like a dick to the media since day one. His first act of business was pissing gasoline all over that bridge and lighting it on fire. This "us against them" mentality that he has spread to his staff and the team became a self-fulfilling prophecy. Absolutely correct. Quote Link to comment
commando
Does it look the ref says f#*k you to BO? i am not an expert...but i think the ref is telling bo to "shut the fuk up' 3 Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
My only actual fear on if Bo is fired is how the players react. They love Bo, they go up to bat for him after every loss, I've never seen a coach with such a strong relationship with his players no matter what. Quote Link to comment
River-runner
Class does matter. It's irrelevant to modern college football, honestly. I'm sick of Nebraska having to be "the class acts of football". Doesn't work anymore. Could care less about wins if we didn't have class. You Sir, are welcome to share my home and big screen TV any time you wish. The fans at Nebraska are tough, you gotta win with class or it really doesn't matter. I'm very proud of that attitude. We need to find somebody who can walk that walk. *sigh* Look, you guys are right, class does matter, I'm just sick of seeing the team I love embarrassed. I think they deserve better than that. I hate losing more than anything on Earth. I cannot disagree with this comment in any way. I think the $7MM+ buyout is more than worth the continued damage being done to the personal self-worth of all the fans (and players) who live and die Nebraska football. Quote Link to comment
okaive
Besides, I can't rightfully call Bo out on his behavior in these situations, I'm ten times worse, I get way more pissed, it'd be hypocritical. But you are not a public figure and the highest paid employee of the state who represents the state and the university It's irrelevant anyways. If we were any other program this wouldn't be that big of a deal, but no, we keep pursuing this hilarious idea that we need to remain the "class acts of football", well, it may have worked a while ago, but nice guys don't win anymore. So are you saying that if any other coach in football got an unsportsmanlike, was a jerk to the sideline guy and called a call "chicken sh#t" in the span of 3 hrs it wouldn't be all over? I would disagree, I think it would be just as prevalent if Saban or urban or anyone did it ...maybe I'm just speaking in anger right now, but I'm sick of constantly being told "How great Nebraska fans are!" and all that sh#t. I'm sick of us basically being a welcome mat. Yes, let's turn into hateful fans. Look how we'll that works for Colorado and West Virginia. How many titles do the have again? Quote Link to comment
shyndy
Damn he about whacked that fu&*#r. Hey how did you get that gif so fast? Is it just me or lip reading the ref is he saying "your job is to shut the f up" ? 1 Quote Link to comment

knapplc
I thought the odds of firing Bo were actually pretty slim before this game, win or lose. After watching that presser... I think he's gone. That was awful. That was a presser that could get him in trouble not just with the Athletic Department but with the conference. Wow. We knew he was caustic, but... wow. 3 Quote Link to comment
