StPaulHusker
I get the national attention angle but I would prefer that we fly under the radar this year. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
i doubt it creates that much national attention. maybe for ndsu. i think gameday is all hype and very little substance. just a spectacle. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
So does their loss make our chances of getting GameDay to Lincoln very minimal? lol I don't quite understand the fascination with this. Tried watching a little on Saturday. That thing's just awful. What's not to get? It's tremendous publicity and exposure for our school and state. This from the guy who thought ponies were cool. So there's that. The Georgia visitors two years ago loved the ponies. #relevant Quote Link to comment

NUpolo8
Any national attention that doesn't focus on Nebraska getting blown out, Bo blowing up on the sidelines, or that effing cat is good attention. Seriously. Perhaps the best post of the year. 1 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Yeah, why would we want the single most influential entity (ESPN) in college sports camping out on campus for a big matchup and showing us a bunch of love? 4 Quote Link to comment

It is much like the criticism the former coaching staff was getting during the 2007 season. We owe it to Miami to blow them out in Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Kind of feel bad for the Miami coach. Difficult to believe that Temple looks to be the better option at this point. Quote Link to comment
GSG
The College Gameday Curse Is Real... For Some Teams Nebraska has made 11 Gameday appearances. We have won 45.50% of those games. We have won 75.20% of our non-Gameday games. That's a difference of -29.80% Quote Link to comment
