sd'sker
Right or wrong, i am concerned if we have a leader who only saw a guy he just fired 7-8 times for 20 minutes all year. I have seen my boss for more than 20 minutes today alone. How many employees does your boss have? Did your boss hire you? and can anyone blame eichorst for avoiding bo? bo hated him from the first time he met him. so, maybe, once again, bo should have taken some responsibility on the chilly relationship. Disagree here. A boss avoiding his employees? Seems like a cowardly move. I dont care what Bo thinks of me, i call him in to my office and I check in on him. Can a relationship be fixed by just ignoring him? I get Bo is a tough guy to deal with, but he strikes me as a"respect guy". You earn his respect by making it clear where you stand. If he doesnt like it, then he can leave, but at least he makes it clear to Bo what is expected of him. maybe bo should have worked harder to earn his boss' respect. whose respect has bo earned? 3 Quote Link to comment
Redux
I dont like the way Bo threw the administration under the bus, even if it was justified or not. These kids dont need to carry a chip on their shoulder, most will be staying. I know he loves his players and thats why this probably hurt him to the point he felt this rant necessary. Im not condoning it. The relationship between he and Eichorst clearly was toxic. A parting was necessary. it was not justified and only a lunatic is incapable of not holding their tongue. Only a lunatic? Simply not true. The man isnt a lunatic. He would be called fiery if his record was better. But we wouldnt be in this mess if that were true. 1 Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
Even if what Bo says is true, this was the absolute least appropriate way to go about it, and is why I doubt what he says is true. i imagine in bo's myopic, persecution complex mind, eichorst did not "avoid" him. he just did not coddle bo as bo saw fit. 1 Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
Is YSU large enough to have a message board? Think I"ll see. I really have a hard time imagining they'd want to go through with the hire after this bit of info. Sheesh.... Quote Link to comment
ABQ Husker
NU's statement about all of this is pretty damning. I wonder what Tressel's thinking right now... Quote Link to comment

Huskball
I do think, however slight the chance was to begin with, this hurts Kaz's chances of being kept on Riley's staff. Bo mentioned just him a few times by name and makes it seem like they think the same. 1 Quote Link to comment

Maybe the rest of his staff was alright, but, I don't want that toxicity lingering around the program if it could be an issue. Quote Link to comment

I am sure Kaz has plenty of contacts in the coaching ranks, and can land another gig. He won't be unemployed long. Quote Link to comment
ithinkiloverg44
I think Mr.Riley is the right person to run this football team right now....bo made himself unapproachable. I think we'll move on well. Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
To think how long I defended him though. Man, I wish we had fired him last year, or in 2012. Quote Link to comment
Redux
Lol the man is gone and guys on this message board think trying to convince people online that Bo is a psychopath will somehow mean something. 2 Quote Link to comment

NebraskaHarry
I didn't think the text of his speech was that bad. I actually thought it was going to be a lot worse. Bo doesn't like the guy who fired him. Who'd a thought it? Move on. 4 Quote Link to comment
