Regardless of need this hurts our class. We wanna compete at a higher level we have to finish out on top with recruits like this. Depth may not be an immediate concern, but make no mistake it hurt.

I don't think the coaches did anything wrong here, think he just got swayed at the last minute.

To me I think it hurts more in the final rankings of the entire class than hurting at the WR position. If we didn't have any good WR's it would be a major blow, but given who we have now, who we have coming in the 2016 class, and the likely commits for 2017, we will be fine at wideout. We really need to get to work on the defensive line for 2017 though as that is my biggest concern moving forward.

I think we have good talent at WR. My worry is that we don't have any "big" receivers working their way up. After next year, we don't have a single guy taller than 6-0.

I would have sworn that Morgan was bigger but apparently not.

What ever happened to Kevin Gladney?

Dismissed from the team last summer.

Let's put a kibosh on the personal attacks on Fitz or his dad. Thinking the kid made a poor choice or hurt our team is one thing. There's no need to start mud-slinging over his or his family's motivations for doing so. Let's have some class, folks.

For sure. Not saying he is, but even if he is a knucklehead, he's better off as someone else's knucklehead.

Wow. If this kid didn't know UofL's WR coach is leaving then I feel bad for him... What a crappy thing to do to a kid to trick him into signing with your program.

As classless as tricking a school into thinking you're going to sign with them, only to back out at the last second. Karma's a b as they say. They Fitzpatricked, Fitzpatrick!

Just something worth noting, not everyone is as educated on college football as us diehard Nebraska fans. We all realize he's a scumbag, yes. However, to a typical 18 year old kid he might be just another coach. Not to mention Petrino will do anything to win.

Likely correct. I mean, was he 14 years old when Petrino had his scandals? I'm pretty much guaranteeing Riley isn't the coach that would negatively recruit against Petrino and tell Fitzpatrick about all the things Petrino has done that were shady over the years. Not Riley's cup of tea.

I imagine other coaches that were recruiting the kid were more then willing to fill him in on Petrino's past....

I really don't think it matters to these kids or their parents that much. In all honesty, it doesn't matter to me that much.
