Landlord
Sources tell me that Bill Cowher is tired of being an analyst and wants to be our DC. Dude that pm was a joke you weren't supposed to take it seriously and run with it as a "source" Quote Link to comment

BoNeyard
Wish List: 1. Aranda 2. Wilcox Rex Ryan would be awesome, and not sure why I have read Rob Ryan's name on here given he has had awful defenses in the NFL. Also, does anyone know if NFL Coordinators do well in college? The head coaching transferring doesn't seem to work between levels. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
So what exactly in the hell do we do if the new defensive Coordinator doesn't want any of the new coaches we just hired on defense? Not his decision to make.So you think a million dollar DC is gonna take the job and decide on no assistants? What makes you think we are going to spend a million on an assistant coach. Quote Link to comment

Look at all the top teams and what they are paying their offensive and defensive coordinators. Quote Link to comment

Ratt Mhule
Where were these meetings held today that Riley was at? I bet its the DC of whatever NFL team resides in that city. Prob went to their practice facility and offered him the job right then and there Looks like they were held in Tennessee. Dick Labeau is our next DC. Take it to the bank Quote Link to comment

I just posted the salaries for 2 of the best DCs in the nation (Aranda is making $1.2M and Venables is making $1.35M a year). Big-time programs are willing to pay big-time dollars to get the right guy. Quote Link to comment

Banker would still be here if Nebraska had not gotten blown out against OSU and Iowa (in my opinion). Had we lost close games he is still here. It's an unsettling feeling for a head coach when his team looks completely clueless as we did against OSU. Quote Link to comment
