I don't know how many college games I have attended but I have never seen anyone escorted out of the stadium for any reason, never once. One time I saw a group get told to "sit down" by security. I have seen 3 college kids sitting on the curb, ziptied, by my cop friend before...but that is it. I just really don't think there are that many issues during games. Yeah I don't think selling beer in the stadium is going to cause any worse problems. If anything, beer sales may cut down on cases of people getting completely sh#tfaced. Right now those who want to, sneak in hard liquor because those bottles are easier to conceal. Nobody is wasting their time sneaking in lower alcohol content beer. When I was a student it was half pints of Yukon Jack or Southern Comfort. Long story short, anyone who is wanting to get inebriated already is. I don't really care one way or the other but I would have a beer or two during a game. 1 Quote Link to comment

I choose not to drink when attending games, but used to alot. People are gonna drink if they want. Nothing wrong with it. IMO 1 Quote Link to comment

CheeseHusker
Everyone who really wants it already brings in flasks full of harder stuff anyway. Just watch out for the flatulence. I sat behind a guy at Lambeau Field who drank several beers and then proceeded to fart all day. It wasn't pretty. Quote Link to comment

nic
The NU fan base can handle drinking and still be respectful. They should ban it at Wiscy games. 1 Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
"Legally" He meant to say legally. At the 2019 Red White Game, at the entrance to the section my wife and I were in, someone in security found a decent sized shot bottle of Jack Daniels or something. Not that my parents haven't admitted bringing a thermos of Hot Cocoa, spiked with mint schnapps back in the day when they would go to a cold or rainy game, when they'd tell stories of going to games.
