desertshox
That field was garbage. You could see players going down just from how pathetic the field is. I even think one of purdues players left the game with an injury from it. And after typing all that i now remember @Canadian Fancouldnt see the game. Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Canadian Fan
@desertshox I actually found a GREAT link. Not only did I get to watch in the game in HD, but I met several nice women thru these helpful pop up links that showed up during the game. :-D 1 9 Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
There should be a league investigation into Purdue's field. If a field is responsible for injuring, possibly ending careers, then that school should be on the hook for any medical expenses that result from said playing surface. That school should then be suspended from play until the issue is proven to be rectified. I understand fields get ripped up, but when you hear of players dislocating ankles due to divots during the PREGAME? That should be a very big legal and liability issue. 2 Quote Link to comment

PaulCrewe
In regard to the crap hole field remember it was only four years ago a busted sprinkler line caused a pretty decent sinkhole in the endzone Quote Link to comment
melscott62
As much money as there = is in this conference.... how is this acceptable? Quote Link to comment
UniversalMartin
Honestly, likely due to my disinterest, but it looked like a football field in december 1 Quote Link to comment

It likely won't happen, but I'd love to see Smothers get an opportunity Friday.... If for no other reason but to see him take a couple shots down field. Quote Link to comment

All Hail Herbie
Given this development, as well as the fact that we have a backup that cannot throw consistently downfield, and the fact that we were up against an undermanned team yielding nearly 7 yards a carry in league play, we elected to game plan around a passing game? Now I recognize there must have been something delicious on film that we thought we could exploit (with sarcasm), but this just does not compute. Can someone please have the coaching staff screen one of the many good documentaries on the life and career of Vincent Lombardi? 1 1 Quote Link to comment
