Just for the record, I personally think Scott Frost would be a smart hire. I'm just worried we're acting like someone who hasn't had sex in a really long time, and how creepy that can seem to the person we want to bang.6 points

One more reason to hope Moos doesn't fumble the snap in hiring Frost.6 points

This division should be so ****ing easy to win, if we could stop humping doorknobs anytime soon.6 points

You mean like how you're saying that Nebraska hiring Scott Frost would magically fix everything?6 points

So we should expect Frost to go 7-5 and 3-9 in his first two seasons?5 points

I have it on good authority that Scott Frost is actually going to join Pat Fitzgerald as co-head coach at Northwestern next year for $900,000 a year. I played basketball with the punter on campus today and he was telling me it's all in place. Said Frost has always loved Chicago but the city is too much of a hassle and of course the U of Chicago doesn't even have football. He said Evanston is ideal because it's safe and the housing market is great and it's only a 30 minute drive or a 5 minute helicopter ride into the city for Scott and his family to do fun stuff. I know what I am talking about with this and I am correct.5 points

Hey guys. I am a huge Oklahoma fan here in Tulsa. I really wish we could do something to get back in the same conference. OU fans still and always will have a great respect for Nebraska. I know we made some concessions to Texas that were iffy. I think the administration wanted to keep the close recruiting we have inTexas. Because we get a lot of kids from there based on proximity. I am not saying it's right so please no one get angry with me. I just wish we could find away to make it work in the same conference again.4 points

And if he were coach at Nebraska, he would consume the B1G with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse.4 points

Scott Frost is the Fonz of college football and the only person that can save Husker football. There it’s back on track.4 points

I'm trying to comprehend what your saying but I got lost at nit and then again at frim.4 points

There is no way Scott Frost leaves UCF. They have an up and coming medical school and the faculty there is pretty sure Scott can find the cure for cancer.4 points
-
A little late but I find it hard to argue with him. If UCF keeps rolling, everyone is going to want him. We'll have the upper hand but the question is if we'll take advantage. Bill Moos alluded to Oregon and Chip Kelly on the radio on USC 1620. Pretty sure he's alluding to it's Kelly or Frost. I think that Walden guy was pretty spot on. From what I've heard, Frost or Chip Kelly are on the shortlist.4 points

Fox News is a garbage organization that''s ardently supported (and continues to support) some absolutely abhorrent individuals. If I had carte blanche to try to fix the media in the U.S., my first move would be to strike them down. I'd burn it to the ground and build an actual conservative news network in its place rather than an angry propaganda outlet masquerading as news.3 points

I used the words "your" & "you" for a reason. Everything "you" post is "your" opinion so why would "your" post above be any different. "Your" posts are all just wild speculation to help show why "you" think (know) Scott Frost would come to Nebraska over Tennessee. Like "I" said there was nothing in that article that would allow most reasonable people to believe that there is no interest in the Tennessee job if it comes available.3 points

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once. Pretty sure that’s SF’s favorite hotel chain. I want SF as coach Nebraska,so therefore via transitive property, SF wants to be the coach also.3 points

Saban and Meyers both have a history of success as coaches which means they have given people reason to believe they can turn it around and be successful again. This is not true for Riley and therefore there is no reason to believe he can. You cannot compare the three. You cannot compare their time at their respective schools to Riley's time at Nebraska. Just my opinion.2 points

Frost is coming to Florida winter is is coming to Florida “winter is coming” is a saying from Game of Thrones. They photoshopped Frost over the guy from Game of Thrones who says that. get it it’s funny2 points

No, that was bolts of lightning from his bare nipples at practice and fireballs from his khakis.2 points

No, it's not. First of all, he's got either the biggest or second biggest buyout in all of the NCAA. Second of all, I mean, come on: 10-4 // #16 9-4 // #23 12-2 // #8 // Conference Champions // Orange Bowl Champions 14-0 // #1 // Conference Champions // National Champions 13-1 // #5 // Conference Champions // CFB Playoff #3 Seed 10-3 // #14 // 10-3 // #8 // Orange Bowl Champions Currently 2-42 points

Butch jones was not a big name when hired by Tennessee. He was the "hot" name Derek Dooley was not a big name. Well sort of because of his dad. But he himself wasn't. Lane Kiffin was a big name in name only. No substance So history lends itself that it doesn't matter if "Big Names" are not interested. Once again, jessica tries to push a narrative without any substance2 points

Sorry for using the wrong wordage (Not easy or Difficult) There was nothing in that article that would make most reasonable people believe that there is NOT ENOUGH INTEREST from "big names" in the Tennessee job if it comes open. Or that the AD doesn't have a "yes" for a job that isn't even open. Don't you think a program like Tennessee would only go after "big names"? Which I assume by "big names" you mean people like Scott Frost.2 points

Very very average sounds like a bad thing until you realize “average” would be a significant improvement for the Huskers. Well check that.....it still sounds bad.2 points

Which is why it's ridiculous that we aren't challenging for the division every year. To say nothing of being underdogs in all our remaining games. B1G West National Scoring Offenses: Wisconsin - 27 Minnesota - 74 Iowa - 81 Northwestern - 83 Nebraska - 85 Purdue - 95 Illinois - 122 B1G West National Total Offenses: Wisconsin - 28 Northwestern - 74 Purdue - 80 Nebraska - 81 Iowa - 104 Minnesota - 106 Illinois - 1192 points

The best thing for Bookie is for Riley to be fired. He can switch commitment to Clemson and look honorable in doing so. People are insane to think kids with the caliber of our current 6 4* recruits for 2018 are seriously coming here if Riley stays. They want to win. They look at the sh!t show we put on week after week, the poor roster management, the completely clueless pressers and lack of development and they'll give a big hell no to the program. They won't be coming if Riley stays either.....His dismissal is a way to bow out gracefully for the kids. Watch film on Bookie. Kid is a ball hawking freak. A physical, press CB. You think he wants to play in our scheme i.e. 10 yards off he ball........Or come here as CB and get moved to his "natural position" at safety where he can be the "best safety in the nation"...... Best of luck to all the kids who go elsewhere. Hope Bookie ends up at Clemson if he dumps NU. Venables and Reed at Clemson will have him balling out in no time.2 points

Bo had opportunity to change his staff and refused to even if it meant the difference to being successful. Mike realized too late that he had to change things up to be successful.1 point
