  1. A few questions for everyone: Do you think exceptions should be made in cases of rape or incest of a minor? Do you think it is okay for a woman to terminate a non viable pregnancy to begin the greaving process? Do you think it is okay to terminate the pregnancy if a woman’s health is at risk? Do you think it is okay to abort one fetus if it means saving siblings sharing the same womb? Do you think it is important for a woman to talk to her doctor about options without the fear of persecution? If you answer “yes” to just one of these, congratulations! You are “pro-choice”. Welcome to the very complicated and overly villafied spectrum of “baby killers!”

  2. If you start from the middle and compromise with the increasingly far Right, what do you actually believe in? Also: surprise! The GOP has no intention of compromising with you. That should have been Lesson #1 from your 8 years as Vice-President. Also: the supposedly extreme left positions on behalf of healthcare, the environment, and education are actually supported by a majority of Americans when the issues are explained to them. Given the utterly ludicrous spending priorities we have at the moment, there's no safety or honor in the status quo.

  3. I realize that this isnt UCF, but while coached by SF, they didnt seem to get too high about themselves as the season went on. With the loss that we took from NW last year, I doubt they fail to show up to that game. I'm not sold on beating tOSU until I see it, and I'd put that as their first loss of the season.

  5. If the adidas logo was moved back to the center, it wouldn’t look quite so bad. Still, four patches on one jersey is ridiculous. If they’re dead set on the 150 years patch, use it in place of the winning tradition patch. Apparently there was a 100 years patch in 1989. When the 101st year came around, someone thought “well, I guess we just have to have a patch!” Like they hadn’t seen any jerseys erstwhile and thought it was just a thing Nebraska jerseys have. A winning tradition has been there since. In my opinion, it’s stupid to have a patch that isn’t commemorating a specific event/anniversary. Instead of saying “oh, we’re good at football, y’all!”, it’d be a lot more effective to just win instead.

  6. I don’t want a candidate who campaigns on reaching across the aisle to a bunch of people who bent over and took it up the a$$ from a racist misogynist with 2 brain cells to rub together. The GOP doesn’t deserve to be brought to the table on anything. They’re a cancer for this country and it’s a 50/50 tossup on whether we’ll survive them.

  8. He's not saying it is the portal's fault. Players celebrated the adding of the transfer portal. It's an entitlement thing - "if the school/coach isn't loyal to me" (can leave, switch schools whenever they please) "why should I have to be loyal to them?". Most of these guys think they are God's gift to football and that if they won't be appreciated or receive playing time at the school they're at, surely someone else will recognize their talents. They're entering this new transfer portal in droves... only to find out they're not really that desirable, and the problem probably lies with themselves more than the place they are trying to leave. The portal isn't all that it was cracked up to be for the players.

  15. They did that in 2016 and they lost. Im tired of the status quo corporate lackeys. They NEED to move more to the left because the more center they move, the more right the right wing moves. Which is why even when a bill is passed in a bipartisan way its more to the republicans liking. Its a new day, younger folks are more progressive and the politics need to catch up.

  21. That patch is also just ugly. tbh I don't really even care about the winning tradition patch either. It's quite big and.... what's the point of it exactly? It's just always kinda been there but afaik nobody really knows where it came from or why it's important or anything. Our uniforms would look so much cleaner with JUST B1G and Adidas patches.

  22. So I listened to a podcast about how the turn that Dany took was an example of how good GRRM is at writing. He gives you this young princess who is first abused by her brother, then married off to a war monger and raped, then betrayed by a witch who kills her now loving husband and unborn child. This is all in just the first book/season. She later frees a city full of slaves only to have some of those same folks turn on her because they actually liked the way things were. George sets her up to be this sympathetic character. Someone who we as readers and audience members can root for with ease. The problem is her motivation. Sure she does some benevolent things along the journey back to Westeros. Heck she even looses one of her dragons/children in defeating the Night King and saving all of man kind. Her primary motivation is revenge. It has been since a child with her bother telling her stories about how her family was wronged and all the things they would do to those who tried to destroy their family. When she finally has battle won, she isn't content with just the throne. She seeks vengeance. She takes what is hers with Fire and Blood. The Hound even tells the viewers what happens to those who only seek to use vengeance as motivation. He warns Arya that there is only one way that path ends, in death. In the end, GRRM got us to see how a super villain is created: someone with unmatched power whose main goal is revenge. He got us to root for her, love her, and even name some of our pets/kids after her.

  26. Most people don't understand that it is actually better for all parties to be brutally honest if things aren't a good fit. Don't let trying not to hurt someone's feelings make the situation worse for both sides in the long run. If they wouldn't play, tell them and let them move on also. I 100% agree with what Hoiberg is doing.

  28. Spence did whatever he wanted. The size and reach made Mikey Garcia look like amateur. Figured Garcia’s heart and experience could get him through 12 though. But as I said earlier it was a unanimous decision for Spence. Two judges 120-108 and the other scored it 120-107. Not a round for Garcia. The second round was the only round that Mikey looked like himself. The telling stat of the route 345-75 punches landed. And sadly after the fight it went straight to challenging Pacquiao. Spence should go pummel Thurmond or Porter(would be the best fight for him) get their belts and then push the Crawford fight to unify and then move up in weight. However IF all that somehow happened we wouldn’t see Spence vs Bud until at least 2021. Thurmond ain’t gonna want a big fight for a while still coming off the injury. Porter is the best fight for Spence in the next year. Meanwhile Bud will fight whomever and continue to get slighted due to his contract
