Yeah! He's not some obvious opportunistic grifter that I fell for last time. He hasn't just copied Trump's schtick - down to his hand movements - he has deep policy goals that help every day Americans! Now sure, he never discusses that policy, and his campaign thus far relies entirely on political theater. But these Republican politicians won't fool me again! Fool me once, shame on you. Grift me 47 times with everybody shouting into the void that my electoral choices are dangerous, well, it makes me want to vote even harder!6 points

I understand how bad Colorado was last year. I also understand that most of that team is gone. Like almost all of that team doesn't exist anymore. And how bad our opponent is doesn't matter if we aren't ready to play. So I think it's you that doesn't understand that how bad Colorado is isn't the only factor at play in whether we'll win or lose.5 points

They went 1-11, and we lost to a 1-11 team last year. You really think 4-8 is that different? I am not gonna shut up because you want to think your 4-8 team is so much cooler than a 1-11 team. Have fun with your delusions, we may easily lose to them.4 points

And he said this where? You are the one who previously posted incorrect information about what was/wasn’t in the spending bill. The Speaker was literally on record in interviews saying those things you claim to be on the chopping block, we’re not on the chopping block. I can’t help that you’re upset you were completely wrong, but at least be honest with the discussion.4 points

Says the guy who supported, because of "policy", a completely deranged, 300 lb oaf with verifiable malignant narcissism who ran every grift imaginable while in office and who also tried to overthrow our democracy in an effort to install himself as our unelected overlord.3 points

Herbstreit has said this about literally every new coach we've had since he's been a commentator. I appreciate the optimism but it's worth...well, less than it ever was, and it was never worth anything lol.3 points

In the context of "my body, my choice" this is a good decision. It's just inconsistent with their abortion stance.3 points

Yeah. 1) Republicans pass a bill that simply states to cut all spending other than defense. 2) Dems push back because it would cut Medicare, Veterans benefits and SS. 3) We are told the bill doesn't do that because it's not specifically stated in the bill. 4) A completely different bill is negotiated, written up and passed that doesn't cut those things. 5) We are told, see, it wasn't in the bill. (umm. the bill that was passed wasn't the one being discussed previously) 6) The head Republican comes out after and says, since we didn't get it in this bill, I'm still pledging to fight to cut Medicare and SS.3 points

But we were assured by a poster hereabouts that Rs wouldn’t consider this, that it was just some manufactured Dem fantasy to trick us. Hmm…somebody is losing credibility day by day.3 points

I think McCarthy thing to negotiate from a position of power, mostly to cut services for the poor, is funny - because his voting baseis too crazy to vote for anything that involves a functioning government. If Republicans were normal, actually had policy or had motives outside of "democrats bad", then bipartisanship is good. These Republicans are mostly opportunistic morons with the only interest of causing harm because they think it helps them get elected.3 points

Did someone actually say more people die where leftist policy reigns? Isn't that both silly and, in fact, the opposite?2 points

Just got an email at work for Motor City Pride (an annual event that's been going on for a long time), and it reminded me of the Rainbow Ford Raptors... So I opened the event website out of curiosity and... I think Y'all Qaeda and MAGAts are going to have to go back to the 19th century. Here's a list of the sponsors They can't fly, buy cars, furniture, cellphones, groceries, insurance, gas, bank, watch tv, football, gamble, go to college, workout, eat, go to the hospital, or get a mortgage.2 points

Mater Dei's new HC is a big Husker fan. He has been their DC for a couple years but always wore a blackshirts hat while coaching. It is definitely a school that we should hit hard.2 points

Of course for me, but if you think of how any politician would respond in these given situations, most would react similar to DeSantis. It's actually pretty rare for a candidate to open the floor to questions at a speech or rally. I'd like to concentrate on his willfully cruel stunts and policies and not pretend some awkward cackle of a laugh is proof of his unfitness. There's no need to get petty when there's bigger and better low-hanging fruit, and I think it can get counter-productive.2 points

I'm realizing you wouldn't understand. You obviously didn't understand that the bill that was passed wasn't the same as what was being discussed. If you did, you would have realized coming puffing up your chest as proof of you being right was....well....quite laughable.2 points

It just really passes way over your head that the bill that was passed, wasn't the bill we were talking about. And, you obviously didn't listen to his comments that were posted.2 points

Thanks @Mavric Sadly, it seems they are further behind then what we're being told. Wonder how long it will take to install the practice fields.2 points

Again, I'm really tired of the blockbuster revelations. Donald Trump and his dad should have been tried for felony tax evasion 20 years before he ever took office. Wake me up when he's in jail.2 points

Apparently some people struggle discerning the difference between what Fox News says and does and direct video proof of what some politician said on Fox. When they have no leg to stand on, they interject an inapplicable straw man to deflect. Typical.2 points

You have to kick the tires here. Nebraska is recruiting tons of OL. Mater Dei is also a school where it would be nice for the coaches to leave a good impression.2 points

Wait…..I’m sorry, but when someone else posts something from FoxNews you trash it saying we can’t believe anything that comes out of FoxNews. Do we believe it now or take your earlier advice2 points

You guys are fooling yourselves if you think the guy who's website in August 2015 said, is the same guy policy-wise as the guy who in 2023 is saying he will end birthright citizenship. Totally different person policy wise.2 points

Somewhere in those four choices is the answer. My total guess is that it's mostly culture and coaching. That, then greatly affects "want to". Guys like this might have been a little overrated. But, let's say he was rated .8900. He still wouldn't be considered as living up to the rating. I don't believe he would have been overrated that much. Raiola has to change the culture of the O line. And, without being in practice and in that room, none of us know really what the problem with the culture is. Hopefully, he gets it done. He's been places where the culture is completely different, like Wisconsin.1 point

Will they go below face value? When face value is over $400 a ticket, I still find it hard to spend that much $ on a football game, especially with a 10 AM kickoff.1 point
