Lawyer on tv just said if he was a prosecuter he would have not wanted an indictment b/c if a prosecuter would have had to taken it to court they would have been destroyed b/c the evidence just isnt there. In a grand jury the person on "trial" doesnt even have defenders there to cross examine the witnesses which would make prosecuters cases even weaker. If it cant get out of a grand jury it really has no chance in a trial.

Consider this link, as well: http://ballotpedia.org/Candidates_with_no_general_election_opposition_in_2012_state_legislative_elections What's that 25-40 percent are unopposed? Would you prefer to have no other option as is the case in many state races? Why so much attention on a legitimate victory?

Nebraska football freshman Tanner Farmer Thursday was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a University of Nebraska-Lincoln cop found a glass bong in Farmer's truck during a traffic stop.

Sipple playing the conspiracy game “I thought Paul would surface here or Nebraska,” a source close to the UW program said. “What did you think when he didn’t take the Nebraska job? “I think Paul knew this was in play.”

“Most people think about it as just being a win for us, but I don’t see it that way,” said quarterback Tommy Armstrong, who threw two interceptions and completed just 8 of 21 passes. “Purdue’s Purdue. But if we keep playing like this, we’re going to lose one of our games. It’s unacceptable. I’m embarrassed. ... The way we played, we should have lost.”

I think along with Tschu that a high percentage of the arrests would have been for illegal possession inside the stadium. Take those away and see what the stats are. Also maybe people weren't showing up buzzes but it won't take long to discover it is inconvenient and expensive to drink stadium beer. They will start showing you loaded again .

TCU should of been in this game over FSU.

Sinclair would be pitching on 3 days rest. So he would pitch on 3 days rest today. then turn around and pitch on 4 days rest to open regionals. A normal rest for him is 6 days - his arm isn't trained to pitch on 4 days, let alone 3 days, let alone both of those in the same 9 day span. just because Erstad isn't willing to blow a kid's arm out to win, doesn't mean we don't care about the game.

No one is disputing that regionals are not more important. That is like saying a B1G title for Bo is more important than a MNC. But when you say "you guarantee we don't care to win this game", you are completely wrong, delusional, and have zero idea what you're talking about. The fact that you had to look at the box score to know Sinclair's numbers furthers my argument that you don't really pay attention enough to offer an informed opinion either

The Big Ten's nonconference struggles the past two weeks don't come as a major shock to those around the league. "We do subpar in our nonconference schedule year in and year out," one league coach said. "[Against] the SEC and the Pac-12 and the MAC, it's subpar. And then you get into bowl games and it's a s---storm."

I just hope we drop our stupid offense and stick to an identity ala Wisconsin or Minnesota

As far as offensively, I never liked Becks scheme, playbook, play calling or philosophy of his WR's and QB's trying to make the same reads. I thought it was a discombobulated mess and I've said it here a million times. It appeared the offensive line was not on the same page as the rest of the offense multiple times thoughout the years, even with different players. Same at QB.
Glad Becks tenure here is over. Or I hope it is.

I hope we learn what a short curl, a short out, a slant or underneath crossing route is. It would also be great to utilize the TE at Nebraska. We've had some good ones go to waste for awhile now.
The constant home run shots downfield were just another aspect of this recent offensive struggles. Becks scheme allowing WR's to read and choose their routes obviously contributed to the WR's running downfield constantly, but I attribute it to Armstrong as well. Maybe with...

Bo did fine with this answer. I think the other guy that questioned the direction of the program is where he probably went wrong. How do you diffuse that? Easy. Say, thanks for calling in. I appreciate the passion you have for Nebraska football. We are all disappointed in how the game turned out. And we are working to get better. I know the guys would appreciate your continued support. We are going to do everything in our power to fix it.

Keeping in mind that the actual coach chosen may not even be on the list, with 20 options to choose from the results are in. Husker fans have voted Mark Richt as their choice for Nebraska's next head coach. The current Georgia head coach was born in Omaha, and he narrowly beat out Oregon offensive coordinator and former Husker quarterback Scott Frost. Richt received 24 percent of the votes (1,320 of 5,603), while Frost was at 20 percent (1,112).

They had 5 starters out bc of injuries we had 3. No wonder we beat them. LOL! Our injuries were a potential heisman and an all american. Murray and the 2 wr that were hurt were good but thats it. Pretty even injury wise and we beat them and it should have been worse if JT doesnt miss that wide open TD

Tom Osborne echoed much of the Nebraska fan base with his reaction to the hiring of Mike Riley as the Cornhuskers' new football coach. In an email to The Associated Press on Monday, the coach who led Nebraska to three national titles wrote, "I don't know Mike Riley. I wish him the very best."
