Anyone who ever argues the Universities make so much money off participating in bowl games is completely clueless 

I think most people are aware that the universities don't make money on the lower tier bowls, but I don't think a lot of people know that many schools actually end up paying to go bowling.

I actually doubt many people realize that it's either a wash or a loss.  Every year I see the argument of all the great money universities and cities make from bowls when the opposite is true.

Pretty by-the-numbers. Was rooting for Charlotte in the Rumble, but Becky winning sets up perfectly for the triple threat against Rhonda at WM. Also hoping Balor gets another shot at Brock (with the Demon making an appearance), but Seth's probably picking Brock. 

Event went as expected for me, I had AJ but I didn't feel good about the pick.  Other than that no surprises other than Nakamura winning the US title on the pre show.  The Becky win played out perfectly, her and Charlotte were brilliant last night.  The Seth win was obvious but necessary.  Finn and Brock did a lot of good stuff, would love a rematch but yeah Seth is taking the strap at Mania.

As I said in the game thread. "If I had the chance to run up the score on a proud tradition-rich program like Nebraska, I'd do it, too."

Okay - but they're just doing their jobs. We stopped them. 

I don't care that we got boatraced by tOSU. That was always the likeliest outcome.

Where I do get frustrated is that college football is one big business and it's good business if tOSU stays good year after year.

So, you know, do whatever you got to do to get recruits, hire all the dirtbag coaches you want (don't worry, slap on the wrist is all) and sure, your transfer QB can play immediately.

Those statin drugs can be tricky. I’ve never had cholesterol issues but my wife has and she just can’t tolerate any of the statins she’s tried. They cause too many severe adverse issues for her. I’m very convinced that cholesterol is primarily a genetics issue. We’ve been eating virtually the same diet for 30 years yet mine is reasonably low to borderline and hers is scary sky high.

Get a new job.

Or a lobotomy.

Check to see if there is a Blues Festival that weekend.   I know a lot of cities on the river or near US 61 have music .

No, this is actually more promising.  He WAS unlikely to play, now he has a chance.  Last week he was definitely not playing and was not game time decision.

I read his book The Grand Design a few years back.  He was good at explaining extremely complex concepts to ordinary people.  That might have made it more challenging to read because I was forced to actually comprehend what he was saying.  Instead of just spacing out.

Utah State should have ran the ball to get the first down. They were in great position in relation to the amount of time left. Coaches and players get too hurried there and make poor decisions. 

They kept going to the short pass play, it finally caught them.

I like seeing teams be more clever and pull off a win.  The way the Auburn QB was counting players it was obviously a ploy to get Alabama to have 12 men on the field.  Well done.

We didn't.  We had to grab them and run in which isn't ideal.  Didn't want to have to do that again so she went and go the car.

I can offer one bit of advice when dealing with an over zealous police officer. When he asks you if you understand what the problem is, do not reply "yeah, you're being a dick".  Goodbye warning, hello ticket  meh, who am I kidding, he was going to give me a ticket anyway.

I've been a big fan of Tenacious D since they were on Mr. Show with Bob & David, before they even had their own show.

That being said, I couldn't bring myself to go to the show.  I'm just not big on concerts in my old age.  I'd rather listen to music with headphones by myself.

Part of me has regrets, but I know I would have just been miserable the whole time.

It was incredible.  The place was packed to the brim.  The seating was fantastic.  Couldn't be happier I went.

Most of them probably are illegal ya perv
