I just want to watch the part where we were good at football.

I wasn't able to watch it live nor have I seen a whole replay yet.  I saw a short clip on BTN just now that showed the protection Martinez got from the O line on the long pass for a TD.  All 5 guys were actively engaging a Colorado player.  I about cried.

I thought the game was encouraging as well. Some unfortunate mistakes were made, but the offense looked pretty good for the most part and the defense looked improved as well. But yeah, we need AM in there.

I think Spielman was the deep man, and appeared to line up on the wrong side of the field for a left-footed kicker. I think Mazour was the other deep guy, but he was at about the ten yard line or so, on the left hash mark.

The kick went over Mazour's head and out of the endzone, at which point a whole bunch of non-field officials and cops ran out to stop the game.

Was the kick and flash of lightening simultaneous? It was awfully close. I'd like to see a review.

I'm pretty disappointed with the game management.  It seem that Frost should have known the weather report and been more aggressive.  I hope he plans better next week. 

@funhusker That's disgusting! I grew in Omaha and attended OPS K-12. I can not remember ever seeing kids at school wearing Hawkeye gear. Different times I guess.

Whem Nebraska was a powerhouse i never felt obligated to be a fanatic.  Nebraska winning was a foregone conclusion, why invest all my interest into it?  It wasn't until we began struggling that I started following it harder.

At this point, Nebraska struggling has become the norm.  Nebraska dominating would be the excitement I have longed for.

Hmm I've heard this before. 

There are tons of other posters that I would rather have a beer with. Most of the best ones I have been lucky enough to actually have a beer with. It's not a completely perfect or direct correlation, but the most respected or most enjoyable posters are the most fun I've had with in person.

I commend Keyan for sticking it through, even though it sounds like he is 7th on the current WR depth chart.  I know there will be a lot of 3-WR sets, rotations, and guys can get injured, but Keyan isn't headed for much playing time.  Walters was quoted as saying the top 3 guys are Morgan, Spielman, and Lindsey, followed by McQuitty, McGriff, and Mike Williams.  Maybe Keyan will have a future in coaching, and is using this experience to gain every bit of knowledge he can.

Idk guys, hard to explain I just really like him.

Oh I agree. He has shown a tendency, prior to this season, to not give it a fair chance and then to totally abandon it altogether. I just don't fear it quite as much now with Lee as I did with Armstrong. I think the key here will be his confidence in anybody other than Tre. He seemed to have the tendency to keep trying with Tre. I guess we'll see if that continues with somebody else.

Maybe because we weren't really that close. Sure our record and schedule may have made it seem close but I think in hindsight it's pretty rational to realize we weren't good enough to really be close to anything other than a fluke outcome and being 1 week away from getting absolutely killed, again, in yet another ccg. I sure don't feel like we were close to being good enough to be in that near miss situation. But yeah, strictly based on proximity, I guess it was close.

These last 16 years have me made me extremely averse to nationally televised a$$ whoopings. I'd be perfectly happy if I never saw another one. That's the last thing I want to be close to.

I missed out on -8 it climbed to 10. I just put a lot on them and another team to straight up win parlay style. Lots of cash to lose, win 45 if they both win though.
