Their schedule was weaker than ours and they got blown out by Kansas at home! I just don't think it's going to work out but we'll see. The locals are not very excited though

The ceiling for CSU is pretty much the Sonny Lubick years. I think Addazio is a good hire for them but the Rams are pretty much gonna be what they've been. If, like @GSG said, they can win some against Wyoming, CU, Air Force and Boise he could be there awhile. If not CSU will rinse and repeat.

@GSG:  You can't really compare Boston College to Nebraska.  They're a small private college, more like Northwestern.  BC played Clemson, Notre Dame, Florida State, Pitt and Va Tech.  That's a healthy schedule for them.  

We could see it here through breaks in the clouds. Not real impressed. Wasn't big, barely turned orangish. About the only thing different was you could tell it was a lunar eclipse.

@BigRedBuster I went into a Menard's store on the day they opened (first one in the region). They played the jingle a few times on the in-store PA, and I asked an employee near me if she was sick of hearing it yet. She said they'd been playing it all the while they'd been prepping the store for opening, and the employees had already been sick of it for weeks.

My mom started adding them to her homemade Chex mix... so y'know, do that too 

I'm convinced that the company that makes Dots Pretzels also makes the seasoning salt/spice for Taco John's potato oles.  

Just a heads up, I figured out their recipe. Go get one of those tubs of butter pretzels they sell at Menard's. Then mix 1 cup butter popcorn oil and a packet of ranch seasoning in a 2 gallon zip lock bag. Let them absorb over a day or two mixing up the bag periodically. That's it. Dump them back in the original pretzel container and go HAM at 1/4th the cost.

15 posts on something like the gameday posts makes it damn near impossible to follow now.  You post and then bam, a whole new page and a second page as you're trying to catch up, easier to just skip pages and go to the end.  I finally got to the point I just said screw it i will just miss a bunch of posts, im not fighting with it anymore.

@JJ Husker I agree the 15 posts/page is super annoying.  As for the new poster influx, I think that seems to be the case every football season.  A flood of new posters and without fail 99% of them are troll accounts/super negative.  Definitely a 1-2 whammy out of the chute and if you (not you specifically 'you' in general) were annoyed over the posts/page thing, loading a new page and seeing it full of of new posters spouting garbage would be aggravating.  I've found that staying away on gamedays works well for me as the game threads are hellscapes of negativity and there is far too much wild overreaction.  I'll pop back in on the 'What did we learn' thread and during the week it calms down.

Will be bummed to see you go if you decide to make that step.

@Xmas32 that's pretty much it exactly. Although I learned to stay away from the game threads a long time ago. I'll pop in there from time to time just to see what asinine takes are being pushed. But it's definitely just for entertainment purposes and nothing I take too seriously. The typical influx of negative posters is never welcome but coupled with the 15 post thing it is really rubbing me the wrong way. Of course having my Kool-Aid bubble burst in game 1 isn't helping either.

@Redux  If I could time travel and knew that'd happen, I'd agree and would prefer 2nd place. But otherwise I can't not want to get into the championship game. And hey, OSU only beat us by 41 points the first time.

Nobody is beating Wisconsin this year except Ohio State and they will likely have to do it twice. 

I have some of the original Pokemon cards (My youngest daughter collected them.) Now my grandson is crazy about Pokemon.  What goes around comes around!

IDK, this just really hit home with me. The character narrating could've been my son. I actually got into it for awhile, had my own deck and would actually play the game. And the holographic Charizard card was the holy Grail. Anyway, thought it was very funny.

It was funny.  It’s interesting to me how these things cycle over time. 

@knapplc It's only happened to me at the downtown location during prime dinner hours (5:00-8:00) when I've been with a party of 6+. 

It happened after my wife and I. We didn't even realize we had been waiting all that long. Great cherry on top of our trip moment.

Also had Honest Abe's for the first time. Would've been awesome if they had not over cooked my burger patty. Still pretty tasty though.
