    I used to not be very unique, but I believe I am now very unique now for not having any tattoos. It's funny that people say they get tattoos to be unique, etc, but I'd say its much more unique to not have a tattoo now.

    When we start winning, and winning a lot, I expect all the haters on this board to completely disappear and piss off. Such a bunch of goons. Its pretty obvious the cupboard was left pretty bare by Riley and Co. We are going to need a few recruiting classes to get things completely turned around.

      Agree with C N Red and JJ Husker.  We don't have to be happy about two close losses, but some of us find the positives in both, and use those positives as a basis for hope that the future is going to be bright.  Just need to hang in there and have a short term memory of the scores.

    If i tailgate in Lincoln, what kind of over air antenna will work good to be able to watch some games? TIA

      Good question, I don't remember seeing a lot of over the air antenna set ups.  I guess I would say to just try anything?

      If you're using local stations then just about any OTA antenna will most likely work.  I used to live South of Lincoln a ways and would set up a TV outside on the deck for away games but didn't have a way to get cable out there so used an OTA antenna. Was able to get to get channel 8 fairly easily.  I'd just say don't cheap out but you don't need to spend $100 either. The higher you can get it the better so think about how you can raise the antenna a bit.

    I know its fun to dog on Iowa about sports, but seriously, something needs to be done about this missing kids thing. 40 kids in 10 days have went missing. It has to be a sex traffic ring one would think. f#&%ing sickos need to be caught and tortured. Sorry, some people just deserve to be tortured imo. #comeuppence

      In that article one of the first things it states out the gate is: "It's important to note that many of those listed as missing may have chosen to leave on their own accord. Of the most recent 20 people reported missing in Iowa as of Friday morning, 17 are teenagers.  While the numbers may be surprising to some, the Iowa Department of Public Safety said the numbers are in line with history."

       

      I don't disagree that something needs to be done to make people safer, just wanted to put out there that from what I can find, there isn't anything close to that number disappearing and involved with sex trafficking.

      There's a lot of truth to the soreness, too. I was sore after my first bike ride this summer. I couldn't even get back onto the bike for about 3-4 days. After a couple of weeks, though, the seat felt normal.

    Anybody heard anything about Joe Burrow possibly joining team? Seems may be looking to transfer depending on how tOSU spring goes. Also, sounds like he may graduate soon, so that would play into being able to transfer without having to sit out. Some smoke out there from things I'm hearing.

      I can't see this as a possibility unless we come out of Spring concerned we don't have a viable option at QB.

      Depends on how 'viable' that option at QB is. Do you take a fresh-off-the-boat Freshman or an experienced signal caller with two years available that's run a system similar to yours and is one of the better known quantities at QB in all of CFB?

      Who knows how much a coach knows about these things at any given University. I think it was proved that Joe Pa knew about Sandusky. Not sure about Baylor, MSU or the seemingly countless other Universities with these coverups. I bet more victims  come forward from other programs now that it appears safe. It seems to be epidemic. Kind of like the Catholic Church coverup of the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.

      @Moiraine, the part I had a problem with was that the university strung him along for a year. Should have either let him back into school or told him he wasn't getting back in a year earlier.
