Damn. Grant Imahara died. He was 49. Sounds like an aneurysm.

Did the Ewoks make Leia a dress immediately after they captured her or did they have a dress laying around because they had already eaten someone Leia's size?

Do we have a wheelbarrow big enough to deliver cash to Will Bolt?

I'll preface this by saying that I think Will Bolt would be a capable head coach and that I would be just fine if NU hired him. But it seems that a lot of people are putting a lot of weight into the "Nebraska ties" thing lately, at all HC openings. Do we always need a coach that has ties here? Go out and get the best coach that we can. If that happens to be Bolt then great.

Do you guys remember 2001 when one of the biggest controversies in college football was Eric Crouch's ham sandwich? Man, I miss those simpler times.

Do you live in Denver or are you a Broncos fan or are you John Denver's secret love child with Dolly Parton?

@knapplc: Not technically, partially, and not that I'm aware of.
But I do like me some Denver omelette.
And I'm still a "he" for everyone that's keeping track.

@RedDenver How often can we expect updates on that last sentence?

DPE strikes again, this time in the AAF!

Eric Crouch is joining the staff at Midland as Asst. Football Coach, working with Running Backs & Special Teams.
Not bad for a kids on an NAIA roster to have a Heisman-winning coach.

Erin Sorensen looks into the claim that a former Husker is dating Britney Spears.

Everything I'm reading says the next two weeks are going to be tough. Stay strong, Husker friends.

Looking like the peak will be late this month. But it's worth remembering that the peak will arrive at different times in different areas. More rural areas that aren't even on the radar right now will probably be the last to be hit, but might ultimately be among the hardest hit.

Looking like the "Nebraska peak" (I'm assuming Omaha/LNK peak, sry rural people) is still 18 days out. Which is a huge bummer. Lots of good research in here -

Fitz says he isn't going anywhere. Northwestern for life.
Great. He's good for the B1G West.
Plus, we have some payback to dish out.

Former QB turned hotshot head coach returns to his alma mater to resurrect a proud old power fallen on hard times.
How's that working out for Michigan?

@ZRod made me think of this:
"Sorry, mom, the mob has spoken."
"MonoFrost... MonoFrost!.. MONOFROST!... MONOFROST!!!!"
"Mono - doh!"

Friend just tried to get Spring Game tickets at "best available" and got an error message.
May have already sold out? If so, it's the first ever sellout of the Spring Game.
-
Full Spring Game video is up in the OP of the 2018 Season.
I left the condensed version there as well. Never hurts to have both.

Garrison Keillor was fired by MPR today. He said his employer hadn't heard the whole story, but, "I'm 75 and don't have any interest in arguing about this."
That's not a denial.

@TonyStalloni Only the bad ones - and here's hoping they're absolutely losing sleep over this.

@The Dude if you've never listened to NPR it's likely you've never run into his work. His big claim to fame is a show he created back in the 70s called A Prairie Home Companion that ran until 2016.

Gonna grill a spatchcocked chicken tonight. If it looks good I'll post results in the food forum. If it doesn't turn out well, we'll forget I ever mentioned it.

@ladyhawke I didn't know Sur le Table did that. I haven't been there in years. I mostly get my cooking tools from Hockenbergs. I'll have to check them out.

knappic, it's really fun. You have to pay for it but what a fun date for you and a friend/wife/whatever. You will leave very full too! (Sorry about the above post. After I typed in your name it wouldn't let me type anything else. Weird!)
So, how did your chicken turn out? I'll bet it was really good!
