Saw that... Very sad, he seemed like a great dude and he inspired a lot of kids to get in STEM.

The amount of plays where initial contact is at or behind the LOS has to be very high. Curious if his data turned up that number as well.

No wonder we abandon the run :bang   I'm confident we can get that percentage higher against NW.  About 6:00 Saturday I'll be thinking "Moos, we need a cleanup in memorial stadium, Cav and Langs made another mess."

  7. Did the Ewoks make Leia a dress immediately after they captured her or did they have a dress laying around because they had already eaten someone Leia's size?

They ate the girl that was wearing it, that's why they had it.  Further proof ewoks suck.

  8. Do we have a wheelbarrow big enough to deliver cash to Will Bolt?

Bolt is extremely intriguing to me because he was here during the golden years of NU baseball. He was a team captain for the best teams NU baseball ever had.

He went to the CWS and thus I'd think his standard of success would be getting us back there.

      darkhorse85

I'll preface this by saying that I think Will Bolt would be a capable head coach and that I would be just fine if NU hired him.  But it seems that a lot of people are putting a lot of weight into the "Nebraska ties" thing lately, at all HC openings.  Do we always need a coach that has ties here?  Go out and get the best coach that we can.  If that happens to be Bolt then great.

  9. Do you guys remember 2001 when one of the biggest controversies in college football was Eric Crouch's ham sandwich? Man, I miss those simpler times.

Didn't the NCAA force him to pay back $7 to the booster or whoever to make up for it? Back in 2001, $7 was a lot of money for a sandwich.

Yeah, he was forced to pay for the cost of the sandwich.

@knapplc: Not technically, partially, and not that I'm aware of.

But I do like me some Denver omelette.

And I'm still a "he" for everyone that's keeping track.

I want this to be a safe space for pronoun-concerned posters, so maybe annually. If there's more concern, then I may update more often.

Solid bounce back. Good for him! Had a rough couple games to start off, but that is probably expected when he's been out of the game for a bit.

  12. Eric Crouch is joining the staff at Midland as Asst. Football Coach, working with Running Backs & Special Teams.

My buddy was on the team when it was dissolved...He wrote "f#&% TREV" on the white board and stole his locker room chair.  Also, the fake outrage when that problem was killed was AMAZING!

Silver lining is that the projections have been steadily getting less grim. The experts doing the modeling seem to think the measures taken so far are going to spare us the worst of it. But we'll see.

Looking like the peak will be late this month. But it's worth remembering that the peak will arrive at different times in different areas. More rural areas that aren't even on the radar right now will probably be the last to be hit, but might ultimately be among the hardest hit.

Looking like the "Nebraska peak" (I'm assuming Omaha/LNK peak, sry rural people) is still 18 days out. Which is a huge bummer. Lots of good research in here -

  15. Fitz says he isn't going anywhere. Northwestern for life.

Great. He's good for the B1G West.

As a Packer fan I kinda hope he stays, too. I'm not a fan of hiring college coaches.

Year 3 of Harbaugh and they are headed the wrong direction on the field...better can him and hire Scott Frost before someplace like Nebraska does.

I left the condensed version there as well. Never hurts to have both.

So, how did your chicken turn out?  I'll bet it was really good!
