    Seeing the Nebraska players protest, and the governor's reaction along with the intense media coverage has made me realize one important thing: the America that I once knew is dead. The new America is one where race dominates the conversation everyday, and there's nothing we can do about it.

    For anyone that has Comcast, have you been getting the on-screen messages to upgrade your digital cable box by a certain date? And if you didn't did anything happen, i.e., lose channels?

      I have Comcast. The only thing I can think of is that if your boxes are in fact old maybe they're no longer capable of properly receiving updates or something? I know that did happen with their 2.0 modems. They made me swap mine out but this was a few years ago. I am not sure if this is what is happening to you though so I'm just guessing.

      suh_fan93, I am talking about the tv set top boxes, not the Internet modems. Mine is only a few years old. I have been getting messages everyday saying if I don't turn mine in for a new one, I am going to lose channels. I was wondering if anyone received the same messages, but decided not to do anything.

      Unfortunately you might need to call call customer service. Could just be a defective box or a bad/weak/too strong of a signal into it.

    I wish they would bring back the old Herbie Husker as the official logo. I always thought he looked really cool growing up. There's just something really plain about a red 'N'.

    Buying Husker apparel sucks when you live in California. Today I hit the mall, looking for new hats. I went to Lids, Champ's, Foot Locker, Hat Club, Sports Fan, Just Sports, etc. Most of them didn't even have 1 Nebraska hat; I kid you not.

    I strongly recommend seeing The Revenant. It is by far the best movie of 2015 and if Leo doesn't win Best Actor this time, he should just stop attending the Oscars.

    I strongly recommend seeing The Revenant. It is by far the best movie of 2015 and if Leo doesn't win Best Actor this, he should just top attending the Oscars.
