@The Dude I don't doubt that in the least. It's not a pleasant drive and really it's kinda scary. When I'm on it I am constantly looking for the best place to put it in the ditch or bail out. It's stop and go the whole way varying from a crawl to 90 or 95 mph......and those two extremes may be separated by about 1 second. Seriously feel relieved when you get off of it alive.

Sorry about your ticket but also I wish this was enforced much more frequently and I'm not scared to let people hear my displeasure via car horn when they clog the left lane. It's illegal and it also makes the road less safe.

He was with his family. If he planned to pull the gun, why did he advise the officer that he was carrying? Sorry BRI, but I think the officer acted wrongly in this instance. I know for a fact that there are a lot of good police officers out there. But I also know for a fact that there are some who are not.

Jumping to conclusions before all the facts come out is what's led to these problems in the first place NUance, you should be smarter than that. SMH, everyone can believe what they want. The officer may have been wrong, but the internet lawyers and experts need to get a life.

True enough. I was just pointing out that it wouldn't make sense for him to inform the officer that he had a gun if he planned to use it. But it would make sense to inform the officer if he had his family in the car and wanted to avoid a panic situation. Hard to say whether the actual truth of what really happened will ever see the light of day. :shrug:

@deedsker Santa Fe Brewing is very underrated. I don't like coffee-flavored beer, but I really like their IPAs and their seasonals (Farmhouse Ale and Winter something were excellent).

@RedDenver Never had any of their other stuff. I make sure to get some java stout when I visit Colorado. Never been to New Mexico and haven’t found it elsewhere.

Most of the font is pretty large, IMO, JJ. If some of it is too long, it will scroll across the screen to allow for bigger font. It does this for headlines. There's also a font size setting. Medium is pretty good for me.

I've always been a watch guy, Zoogs. Professional looking and functional, IMO. Always looking at phone for time is a bad look.

@NM11046 I guess I didn't even think of Buck in the NFL. First thing I thought of with him was the MLB. I've got quite a few friends who are Cubs fans and according to them Buck was a huge homer last year for the Dodgers in the NLCS. I've always enjoyed listening to Buck do MLB games though. 

@NM11046 can't stand Buck with Aikman. Maybe it's because I'm an Eagles fan, but they are SUCH homers for the Cowboys (naturally).

Now that I've thought about it. I don't believe TO called up Frost and ordered him back to Lincoln.

But you guys really think it's nuts for him to call and at least put out feelers for Frost's interest in inheriting his old team? As intimately as TO was in bringing Bo back to Lincoln & selecting SE as his own replacement as AD?

That was his job at the time. He's a mentor to Frost, and like the players he mentored he will not tell them what to do in life. He will give them advice about what to do though. At least that seems to be his character.

I think that's fair. Obviously TO's character is beyond reproach.

I still think I could see him acting as an ambassador of sorts if he truly believes it's best for all parties involved, but perhaps I'm alone in that.

I loved his albums back in the day.

@Clifford Franklin I will say that it’s not the funniest comedy sketch I’ve seen, but it was worth it for me. And yes! I am also lucky to have a girlfriend who laughs at my goofy jingles. There are a lot duds, haha, but when I get a good one it’s a good belly laugh.
