  1. Lovie Smith not resting any starters today against the Pack. He knows what this rivalry means. GO BEARS.

The Bears/Packers rivalry is the oldest rivaly in the history of the NFL. I wouldn't expect fans to understand it. Of course it would suck hugely if one of our starters got hurt. On the other hand as a longtime Bears fan I love it.

Well, if a win over the Packers is more important than a playoff win. Have fun!

And i do know the importance of the rivalry, I also know the importance of having a healthy team for the playoffs.

Maybe the Bears staff should listen to Minneosta_husker then...

  2. Florida State up by 11 on #1 Duke right now. About 14 min to go in the second half.

I don't know what the hell happened to my boys in blue tonight. Everything fell apart; shooting, defense, rebounding, etc.

      except he struggled against Simon

    3. suh_fan93

      suh_fan93

He did. Simon was hitting some amazing shots. Still Federer amazingly still has game after all these years and he's a class act too. If it's him and Nadal in the finals that will be epic.

    4. Parl Celini

      Parl Celini

It is epic everytime they face each other in the finals.

He's a ball hog. I don't see how the trade made the Knicks any better. They got rid of all their good role players to get a guy who can ONLY score.

    3. suh_fan93

      suh_fan93

Well said. I've never been a fan of his game. Even as a scorer he's pretty meh to watch.

  5. One thing I'll say is at least we won. We can hopefully improve and at least we have that possibility to look forward to. I'm trying to be optimistic so I can't wait for next week to see how this team and these coaches respond.

Edited: Yes. I did mean Southern Miss. I guess they basically got upset tonight also. Guess the real test will be UCLA as I mentioned before. Fingers crossed...

  6. As if getting the #1 player in the country who happens to be a RB wasn't enough. Bama just got the #1 offensive linemen too. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/recruiting/football/story/_/id/9634290/cameron-robinson-commits-alabama-crimson-tide

I had no idea Bama' was recruiting him too until tonight and your post E-Z. Heck the kid's a 3 star prospect on 3 of the 4 major recruiting sites. I thought Bama only went after 5 star kids for their OL lol. Bastages...

I find it ironic that this kid actually think the university will listen to him when he isnt even there yet. I can stand Kiffin, yes. But this young man needs to grow up and go somewhere else then. NO bodies afraid to say it? What about the tens of thousands of fans chanting it last week. Ner dang.

  7. Illinois gave #16 Washington a ballgame only losing by 10 points. It's weird to think that this might actually be a battle for us in 2 weeks. Is this real life?

One of the points I remember when we joined the Big 10 was the talent spread wasn't as drastic as it was in the Big 12. Almost every year a favored team was upset by an underdog. I don't think Illinois has much quality depth but they have a decent Qb and a few good athletes.

Chiefs may have shouldve drafted Geno Smith. I'm second guessing the decision not to. He couldve learned under Smith and Reid as opposed to poppin his cherry in the sh#tstorm that is the Jets.

  11. Just watching last years Sugar Bowl between OU and Bama. So glad I dvr'd it. Mighty SEC=not that night. 7 sacks by Oklahoma none sweeter than the last minute sack of McCarron who fumbled as OU took it to the house.

  19. Something tells me you are going to see a very determined Nebraska team next week against Colorado and in the Big 12 championship game. I think you are going to see a team who's ready to come out and flatten people after last nights debaucle.

    1. zoogs

      zoogs

I can. Yikes. We've destroyed a lot of passing QBs, but guys like DRob seem to have kind of had our D's number. I mean, Taylor was supposedly gashing our defense left and right when he got on a hot streak. It'll be exciting - but a bit scary.

    2. suh_fan93

      suh_fan93

That's exactly why I'm excited zoogies. I want to see how our D does and shutting him down would just be awesome. It's the kind of test I can't wait to see our defense take on.

You're right, it is exciting but just a bit scary too given a player of his caliber. I can't wait!

    3. huskerscott

      huskerscott

I think our defense will do fine.... Remember Tyrod Taylor we shut him down for 58 minutes and Robinson is no Tyrod Taylor.

Yeah I was hoping to see Prince there too but I think he's going the route Suh did last year. Still 5 darn Huskers though! Pretty cool...
