They know that they can't fight a conventional war with us. The unknown is whether they will try to hit us financially, technology, or through proxy terrorism. 1 Link to comment

I would imagine there is a plan but I also agree that Iran will not square up, they can't and they know it. I would think financially is what they will try first. Link to comment

The problem is they can't have a dramatic impact financially going after oil since we import a small amount, and the majority of our imports are from Canada. Attacking Oil would really be a win for Russian and US Oil companies as any increase in price would probably boost their profits. I would think it would hurt Europe more than anyone. That leads me to believe they will either try some kind of hack, or proxy/espionage attack, and likely never claim responsibility. 1 1 Link to comment
