teachercd
I love starting this! With it being a night game I don't see myself heading to Lincoln even though I know it would be a freaking blast. I think this game will be one that I watch at home with a few friends. What about you guys? 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Daughter's band marches at the State Fair Saturday morning. Picking her up after that and headed to Lincoln. Same seats in Memorial that we've had for five years (I think) now. 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerMan
Watch from home. Start the day off with putting food on the smoker which will include a breakfast bacon explosion and a pork butt and ribs later for during the game. Maybe grill up some burgers for lunch. Everything inbetween cooking will be sitting myself on the couch and catch as much football as I can or as expected wth having two kids under 3. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Gonna watch it at home with beer and food. Thinking about smoking some wings and bacon burnt ends for my food. The family can join me if they choose. 1 Quote Link to comment
Redux
Probably gather at my unfinished bar and have Nebraska game on one TV, FSU vs Bama on the other. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Driving back from Chadron that morning. Starting the coals to make chicken wings and jalapeño poppers.......and a stiff drink. Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
The last opener I went to was Wyoming in 2013. It was hotter than all hell when tailgating, and then even hotter in East Stadium during the game (100 degrees). We also thought it would be fun to keep the game close and won by 3. Haven't gone to an opener since. Quote Link to comment
Toe
I'll be at my usual spot: the sports bar near my place where the local alumni association chapter holds their watch parties. I'll probably have an order of fish tacos. Quote Link to comment
Hilltop
Hunting teal/doves early Saturday morning and then getting ready for our annual 12 hour fish fry. I am feeding 50-60 people all day long... starting with the Iowa Wyoming game. Can't wait! 2 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
I've got baseball practice for my son's travel team in the morning (he's stoked for watching the game saturday night though), but I'll be back to the house by 10:30 to tend to my BBQ'ing. I plan on having some friends over, so we'll probably drink and watch games all day. Quote Link to comment
307husker
Hunting elk with my bow at 10k+ in the Rocky mtns. I killed last year's bull about an hour before kickoff of the first game. Hoping to do that again this year. I'll catch the game on DVR, likely after knowing the result. I am really thankful for DVR. 1 Quote Link to comment
commando
my plans were to be at the game....but with an air cast on my right foot i don't want to battle the stadium steps in that crowd so will be giving the tickets away. Quote Link to comment
KingBlank
Golf at 730am. Set up the Tailgate at 1pm, in the seats by 630, starting my 15th year of never missing a home game. Come on Mr. Riley let's get it done. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Drinking beer and listening to music at Tour de Fat Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
1st time season ticket holder! But not going to the opener. Tradition is Labor Day weekend at the lake with the family. So I'll be white girl wasted watching on TV. Can't wait. 1 Quote Link to comment
