knapplc
I also saw that he has two catches in each of the last 25 games he's played. Quote Link to comment

More of a hammer meets nail kind of guy when it comes to what offense I'd like to see us run. People talk about Wisky never wining anything of consequence with their O, but NU did just fine with it....Get some key skill guys and go back to being NU. That was 20 years ago. CFB has changed. We shouldn’t try to force a square peg through a round hole. Mixing metaphors, Frost is skating to where the puck is moving. The future is bright, we just have to get through these initial growing pains. 1 Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
If we come out and put a drive together at the beginning of the second half, we're going to win this game. If we come out and go three and out or turn it over we're losing. Quote Link to comment

I get that the finesse spread offense works for the Ohio State's, the Oregon's, etc. Just feel like on offense, we have no identity. On paper, it appears they want to be balanced. Our best recruiter is Ryan Held and he usually ranks in the top 40-50 in recruiter rankings. To me, that isn't good enough and it's beginning to show. Better quarterback play would do wonders for establishing an identity. Martinez has been too hot and cold this season for any sort of rhythm to get going. Nebraska Jr's recruiting rankings are nothing to brag about, but pretty much everything else about their program is. They're quarterback Coan has been Mr Steady Eddie this year and that's a big reason why they are rolling right now. Quote Link to comment

Problem is our qb among others. He stares down on ONE receiver for his entire route, doesnt read the defense, even on the read option he makes bad reads. Seriously he looks like a different guy this year.....Taylor Martinez or Tommy Armstrong were SIGNIFICANTLY better than the way Adrian looks this year. Sorry but thats the truth. Im hopeful that he can become a great QB, and we know he has potential, but RIGHT NOW he is terrible. He hangs receivers out to dry also. Spielman is gonna get hurt if this continues. Absolutely no way to sugarcoat it. Quote Link to comment
