Adrian is a head case and has the yips, probably a terminal case. We should win more with Luke, I get why they want Martinez to start, he is way more talented as a passer but has just lost it. Get the young kids in, especially at WR. Get the talent on the field and lower the barriers to entry. Faulk and Warner will never get it done, ever. Sorry people, that is a fact. Martinez is a terrible passer. He refuses to throw the ball until the receiver is actually open. He has no concept of seeing the play develop and throwing into the open spot prior to the receiver actually being open. Most of his throws are way to late. Plus his accuracy sucks. 2 Quote Link to comment

Yeah, but aside from that... 6 Quote Link to comment
Husker03
This team isn't near as bad as Martinez makes it look, and that is all I need to know in order to see that we need to try something else. 4 Quote Link to comment

LumberJackSker
When luke starts next week can we shelve the warner in motion play. The defense knows your not going to hand it to him because they never have and if they did he's to damn slow to do anything anyway. Also enough play action on 3rd and a mile its not fooling anyone either. 3 Quote Link to comment

McCaffrey had 2 fewer completions today than Martinez, on 15 fewer attempts. McCaffrey also had more yards per attempt. He is also much more decisive when it comes to choosing to run and then during the actual run. Martinez has regressed in every aspect of the game. And same about of points scored. Fix the red zone play calling and I’ll take either. Quote Link to comment

The only offense you have is the QB draw anyway so why bother even trying to throw it? Definitely. Should just run the option 50 minutes ago, PaulCrewe said: I'd go with Smothers or WanDale in the WIldcat all game long Tried that. Bad snap Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Luke McCaffrey. 1 Quote Link to comment
WyoHusker56
I don't know how you don't go with McCaffrey until he proves he's not the guy now. Martinez's throwing today was just bad. 1 Quote Link to comment
Undone
Probably just my post-game rage talking here...but I'm sure it really matters. Our offense f****** sucks. Quote Link to comment

ZRod
Something that was glaring today; Both guys stare down a single receiver, but Luke actually pulls the trigger sooner to complete passes. Quote Link to comment

I certainly can’t speak for every play, but I’m positive I saw Luke scan a couple times. I swear AM knows where he wants to go before the snap unless he scrambles Quote Link to comment
