So maybe not the smartest thing to say out loud considering a good starting point would be to reach out to Frost to give him a job on his staff to kick start his career. What bunch of jacka$$ comments for him to make. I've been in Florida twice to go to Orange Bowls the Huskers were playing in and quite frankly I couldn't wait to leave the state both times. And while the great plains states aren't my favorites either (but better than Florida) that is totally irrelevant. People live where they want to live for a variety of reasons and to make statements denigrating their choices is a downright stupid thing to do. I know where I choose to retire certainly would not be most peoples cup of tea but I absolutely love it here. Quote Link to comment

desertshox
Can we get a more apt title like "Florida man disses OU and NU"? 2 Quote Link to comment
The Scarlet Pimpernel
There are many Husker fans who don't want to accept the fact that most kids view Lincoln and Nebraska in general as being cold, in the middle of nowhere, and not having much to do. That's why it's so important to get them on visits and show them that's not necessarily the case. 3 Quote Link to comment

But, it's understandable that someone that's never been to Lincoln or Omaha would have a very different opinion. Very true. I love Omaha and Lincoln. Guess it's what you are used to or want. C-4
I sub for both LPS and OPS, so I see both almost every other day and their communities. While I prefer living in smaller places (whether cities or suburbs), both have great areas. The weather means little anymore. Be honest with ourselves: who goes outside 365 in today’s age? ZRod
Love how most of the people saying they would live in Nebraska are old farts with families, or way past their college days. If I was in my 20s again and could be in a warm state with tons of things to do and places to party, of course I'd be there. I love Nebraska and it's a great place to raise a family but if you're young it's boring as hell unless you want to eat, drink, or hunt. Like JJ said, of course a guy who's lived in Florida and Hawaii his whole life isn't going to think highly of the Midwest. Just like everyone from the Midwest doesn't think highly of Florida. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

Hmmm....when I was in my 20s and freshly out of college, I was like a lot of my friends who were getting married and looking for that....great place to raise a family. 1 Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
If you're getting paid to live in the state of Nebraska to play football it ain't so bad. And Nebraska should be able to hang with the best of them. Quote Link to comment
The Scarlet Pimpernel
Nebraska needs to provide something that other schools don't have, to give kids a reason to want to come here. Right now, we don't have that. Quote Link to comment

Right now, we don't have that. What does Nebr have that can outdo Beaches Galore. SPRING BREAK TO THE MAX. I've been to Omaha many times and have lived in Lincoln. I grew up in Nebr. I now reside just south of Tampa. In Tampa alone you have the Bucs, Lightning, and Rays. Orlando just 1 hr from Tampa you have the Magic. This is just to name a few. You get the best concerts all year long. You have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can also go deep sea fishing. You have party bars everywhere. Let's not forget, For The Single College Guys, You get a NEW influx of Young Women Every week coming to the beaches. There is so much more to list. I lived a good portion of my life in the midwest. There isn't that much to do there. Yeah, you can say hunting and fishing, or possibly the Casinos. The best place I lived in the midwest was Sturgis. Now, that's a town that knows how to party, but it only lasts for 3 weeks, at most. They do get great bands in the bars and at the Chip, but what else is in the midwest. I will always bleed RED. Nebr needs to start coaching up their recruits. Sending more players to the NFL. That, I believe is our ticket to getting more High School recruits to look at us. Quote Link to comment

Great look to be advocating for an area that he isnt even playing for anymore lol Ehh, Milton is probably a pretty fair tick above a fringe D1 QB. He had 2 great years before getting hurt.
