  1. Surprised he isn't #1 on our board with this vertical

  2. Get him in the weight room for a season with Duval, and I bet he can increase that vertical to over 500 easily.

  6. Dude relax this is a democratic primary. The majority of people watching are dem voters who will vote for any dem candidate put forth. Its the first debate which is a f#&%ing mess having 10 people try and talk over each other. Im sure the debates will be less of a circus as the field thins to the front runners. And when the general debates start it will be a different story. Trump will be exposed as a fraud.

  8. Said it on Page 2 and I'll say it again: David Hookstead is a running joke at Wisconsin. Dude was not liked during his time on campus. If you're looking for a rivalry driver, this ain't it.

  9. Obama and the Democrats did not fight and openly extended the Bush Tax cuts when they expired. Obamacare was designed to appease the Republicans from the get-go (it's true, although neither side wants to admit it), and in the wake of the 2008 financial meltdown, Obama and the Democrats were quick to assure Wall Street they would play ball with bail-outs and toothless regulations. Obama either maintained or appointed several Republicans to key jobs. Merrick Garland was a judicial centrist and respected mentor of Chief Justice John Roberts. And somehow Barack Obama remained a lying African socialist megalomaniac.

  11. What are you talking about? The dems have been trying to work with McConnell. Why do you think the right wing has moved even further right? Because the dems keep moving right to work with them. What did they concede? Well a supreme court nominee for one. McConnell came out and said his best moment in congress is when he told Obama "Mr. President, you will NOT get to pick a SC Justice." Im not sure what else you want the dems to do besides grow a back bone and stand up and fight. Keep moving more right til we have alt-right and right?

  14. You realize you sound exactly like the Tea Party nut jobs right? That's what I'm talking about. What did the Dems concede? When you absolutely refuse to work with the other party you end up where we are today.

  15. mitch won't work with the dems....kind of pointless for the dems to say they would work with him as it won't happen anyway from his side.

  18. Delaney? Whenever he was given 60 seconds, he managed to repeat himself three times. I'd hate to see what he'd do with more time.

  22. Trump has wild conversation wt Fox Business host and tees off on Mueller, Dems, etc and etc. He comes across as off his rocker. Kellyanne's husband says it is time to have Trump committed & examined. https://www.mediaite.com/trump/george-conway-calls-for-trump-to-be-committed-after-wild

  25. Buckeye here. The past two years Ohio State has only lost one game, both of them to B1G West opponents in blowouts on the road and at night. Needless to say, it wouldn't surprise me if the Buckeyes lay another egg, this time in Lincoln. My hope is, of course, that the new defensive brain trust will improve our D dramatically. Last year's defense was the worst I've seen in Columbus since John Cooper's first year in 1988. Our offense will live or die based on how well our new QB (Justin Fields) plays. I wasn't impressed with what I saw of spring ball, but perhaps I shouldn't put too much stock into that.

  26. Doctors collude...why wouldn't they? I would! Been to a dentist? Ever seen a menu that shows you their prices? Of course not...it is collusion and it is brilliant on their part. Med/dental school needs to be cheap...if you get accepted and pass...it almost needs to be free so that when you get out you can start your own practice and charge 25 dollars for a visit and you are good to go. It can't start at "the top" it needs to start at the bottom.

  27. That's wild. I thought Gabbard showed herself to be second-tier; a decent showing but decidedly non-Presidential and not particularly inspiring. One zinger does not a President make. Crazy that so many people thought Gabbard lapped the competition. Then again....since the poll was conducted by Drudge, I wouldn't be surprised if the results were crafted to mess with Democrats' minds. If the numbers were made up entirely of people who follow Drudge and self-selected the poll, my guess is that few have any intention to vote for a Democrat. Wait a minute. I have Google right here. Let's find out...... .....well whatta you know? Turns out the pro-Tulsi numbers were the result of pro-Trump trolls on Reddit looking to mess with Democrats' minds! https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/trolls-target-online-polls-following-first-democratic-presidential-debate-n1023406

  32. I think aOSU did a better black uniform than we did (because ours had the tire tread or whatever that pattern is on the shoulder). I also prefer the normal looking numbers and the fact that they're red.

  35. "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" is good. Really, really good. Might be the best Spider-Man flick of them all. And it helped me teach the Spider-Man theme to my 2 year old.

  37. The most troubling part is that FDR could make a case that America was fighting for freedom and democracy. It united us in purpose and sacrifice. It went downhill after that. Young Americans were asked to die for causes having little to do with freedom and democracy, or America's safety. But every President since Roosevelt would call upon that vintage sense of American nobility to sell wars with almost no moral footing. It works because we like to think of ourselves as heroes.

  38. We likely want 4-5 LB's this year. Choe Bryant-Strother is the only ILB that would possibly be a commit at this point. For OLB, possibly Gunnerson and Tyler Berrong?? Either way, I highly doubt we're turning guys away that we used official visits on already.

  39. Even if the endgame is just Mueller repeating what is in the Mueller report, that would be a very good thing. It's going to draw a TON of news coverage and you know only a very small sliver of people actually know what's in the report. A large chunk probably just buy Trump's lies about it wholesale. The more people that come to understand what Mueller's investigation actually found the better. Even if he doesn't give us any new information.

  43. Nah, that season was doomed even if we hadn't played USC. Painful as the USC game was, you could pretty much see where things were going after we barely eked out a win against Wake Forest the week before (which some seem to have forgotten about - oh look, yet another end-around that we can't defend!).
