  1. Hallmarks response is classic, not even a nod or golf clap. If somehow they could take Arkansas, that would certainly be an earth shattering, possibly program changing event.

  2. Well, this will be huge for the team. Also a reminder no matter how the postseason goes, this is still an amazing "first" season by Will Bolt and co. Don't forget that.

  8. Every time someone talks about the attempts to take voting rights away, the goalposts get moved to "show me who has lost voting rights." It's a dishonest method of conversation.

  9. This seems to be a huge misunderstanding. No one here has claimed that people are losing their right to vote. At least as far as I know. What most are claiming is these laws can make it more difficult to exercise that right. And it’s all for partisan reasons. That is what I believe conservatives call a “slippery slope”.

  10. Just a reminder, Nebraska has lost to the likes of Western Carolina, Yale and Holy Cross in regionals the last 5 years. "Easy" opponents haven't meant squat. Last regional game for Nebraska was a 16-1 loss to UConn. Time to git gud.

  13. Yet These voter suppression laws are just being enacted, no? You'll have to wait until the next election or until the Maricopa circus is over. But the history of the first round of Jim Crow laws is full of examples. History has a way of repeating itself. I still see you haven't answered my question. I would love a tangible example and not some fairy tale maybe might could possibly scenario of voter fraud.

  14. There isn't a scientist or medical expert in the world who hasn't had to do a 180 based on new information or circumstances. Of course he has. He's human. But he's damn smart and good at what he does. He never wanted COVID to be political, but the right has made it that way with him, take his grilling at the hands of Jim Jordan, for example.... and it really irks me because my field is close enough to his that I know he's right and he's trying to do the best he can, with the information that we have, to keep people safe from COVID. So when I see an imbecile like the one wearing the shirt a few posts above, it really pisses me off.

  27. Ummm no I don’t have to wait actually. People here have specifically stated voting rights are being taken away. I would like to know who’s right to vote was taken away by an election law change and can no longer vote? Who is being disenfranchised from a legally cast vote or from casting one? To your question to me...How can you find it if you don’t look/audit for it? Case in point, absentee voting signature matching/voter ID. Why have voter ID for in-person voting but not absentee voting? States are correcting that. Lack of video monitoring at election drop boxes to check for mass ballot dropping by one person. States are correcting this. Many of these election laws are securing these scenarios.

  30. The future of this country is hopeless because there are millions of @Archy1221's out there. Imagine being so brainwashed to think that restricting voting (in the name of nonexistent crimes) is pro-American and pro-Democracy. We need to stop acting like people like this have valid points worth considering. We no longer should give airtime to these people or act like there is any equivalency between the two parties anymore. Pro tip: next time try not to let somebody who's best accomplishment is using their name to sell steaks at Sharper Image lead your party.

  32. Bulls#!t. You know it too. Not one example has been given of a voting right being “taken away”. Hell, give me an example of someone can get ready to vote in the next 1 1/2 years. I will give you ways they can. Get your head out of the California sand and pay attention to the conversation. How will a Georgian no longer be able to vote because of a change in the law? Or Texan? Or North Carolinian. Anyone? People have 1 1/2 years to figure out how to vote for 2022. A full 3 1/2 years for 2024. I think you need to look up what plausible deniability actually means. Using big words out of context is not the best look.

  34. Yeah, those are views I do not hold. I happen to think those views cost Democrats winnable Senate and House races. I hope they do a better job of distancing themselves from those talking points in order to do better in 2022. You did not address my argument. I don't care that they don't want to give up their guns. Drug dealers don't want to give up their drugs, it does not mean that if guns are illegal they can't be treated the same. But for you this must be worth it, right?
