Get better sources. The visit went well with Neyor and he cancelled his visits set up for this weekend. Callahan put in a CB for Nebraska.8 points

In most circumstances, it is totally douchey to question the level of someone's fandom, however in this case, on behalf of Huskerboard since it is glaringly obvious you are not a Husker fan, we will kindly ask you to stop referring to Nebraska as "we."6 points

What if climate change gets so bad by 2300 that the only states not underwater are Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska?5 points

You really don't know what you're talking about, right? All 3 of those schools went through periods of mediocrity and periods where they were excellent. Oddly similar to another school. With that said carry on with the trolling.5 points

Washington is playing for the NC on Monday....Yes we can get back. Not even a question. Can't believe that people are counting us out. Recruiting doesn't matter. Football has changed. NIL, Transfer portal, the B1G is now coast to coast. We just got a 5* #1 QB to flip from 2 time NC Georgia to NU who hasn't been bowling in 7 years....Have some faith and hope.4 points

If your kid uses a gun from home and that kid is under 18 and that kid hurts another kid or themselves with that gun the parents go immediately to jail, they do not pass go, they do not collect 200 dollars. Those parents get to jail. Every parent brags how they are the smartest safest gun owners in the world, how they teach their kids about gun safety and to respect guns and how their kids know better than to use a gun to hurt anyone. Money where your mouth is... Even in a tragedy like this. Parents, see you later, jail. https://www.wral.com/story/family-sues-gun-safe-maker-after-son-s-death/21169931/4 points

I believe the over-riding question involves the ongoing and surprisingly successful campaign by conservative messaging to link democrats and liberal icons to global pedophilia. Tons of easy to find and perfectly legitimate sources on that. Your feigned ignorance on the subject and attempts to divert it down irrelevant rabbit holes isn't convincing. As for Hunter BIden: don't worry about it! The things you choose to obsess over. Sheesh!4 points

Wow...is this for real? Good lord...we are about to GET PAID! Once teacher unions are gone, one of two things will happen. 1. They will reform a new stronger union that will make all you cry when you see your property taxes or 2. We will essentially free agent ourselves and do away with the lame a$$ teacher salary scale...once again making all of you weep as you read your property tax statement! THANK YOU!!!3 points

Dual is next Friday 1/12 at 630p. Assuming Nebraska doesn't have any injuries, they have a very real chance at beating Iowa for the first time in a while.3 points

So I’m glad you brought this up an why defining terms is important. Was the election stolen in terms of votes not being counted for Trump or Biden getting made up votes by the machines? That seems like an obvious no. However there are still too many believers of that scenario still. Was the election stolen by states changing election law in the middle of an election without going through the legitimate process of changing those laws? Or just not enforcing the election laws of harvesting? Stolen still may not be the correct word, but those things absolutely took place which could have altered the final vote count. PA SCOTUS famously changed the election laws. Wisconsin was very lax in its harvesting containment. Im of the beliefs that the majority of people who believe the election was stolen refer to this and not what I first talked about.3 points

Considering there is zero evidence for the 2020 election being stolen, and a rich tapestry of baseless conspiracy theories, the majority belief among the GOP that the election was stolen -- and the really nasty stuff that implies moving forward -- is more than enough to paint the Republican party with the Qanon brush. Interesting, too, that some of those 10-15% whackadoodle Qanon beliefs are shared and promoted by elected Republicans currently making our laws3 points

Really? You think it's possible that some well known Republicans might be implicated? Whoa! And if you're thinking of the Epstein situation, why wouldn't old Epstien buddy and braggart pedophile Donald Trump be the first to leap to mind? That's the same guy who recently wished his friend Ghislaine Maxwell "good luck" with her trial. And oh, if it were only a few GOP whackos who buy into the QANON playbook: https://www.forbes.com/sites/tommybeer/2020/09/02/majority-of-republicans-believe-the-qanon-conspiracy-theory-is-partly-or-mostly-true-survey-finds/?sh=7cf31b055231 https://www.prri.org/press-release/new-prri-report-reveals-nearly-one-in-five-americans-and-one-in-four-republicans-still-believe-in-qanon-conspiracy-theories/ https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/28/politics/poll-qanon-election-conspiracies/index.html You keep trying to distance yourself from these people, but it's really undercut by your attempts to pretend they barely exist, and that we shouldn't worry about them.3 points

Since 'greatness' is somewhat subjective, I tend to focus more on what the actual results could be. Similar to @Red Five, I don't think Nebraska will ever win another national title. Or, at the very least, the chances are incredibly unlikely. (Maybe they could catch a hot streak like Washington but I also don't expect Washington to regularly be in the spot they're in now.) There are a lot of reasons for this but they mostly boil down to talent and just how college football is currently structured. But, I do think that consistently winning 9-10 games, a couple conference championship appearances each decade, and maybe a conference title win once every 10-15 seasons is certainly within the realms of realism. And a lot of that boils down to resources and talent acquisition. Nebraska has (on paper, at least) recruited better overall talent than a lot of other B1G programs that win 10 games and compete for conference titles. And they've been just a couple of plays away from beating some insanely talented teams in recent years. So, success is certainly achievable. It's just going to take the right staff and support system to pull it off. I'm really hopeful Rhule is the guy to at least make Nebraska an occasional conference title contender.3 points

I have come to grips that we will never win another national championship. In fact, I will be shocked if we ever win another conference championship. With that said, I will continue to be a huge fan. I will watch as many games as possible and throw various amounts of money around traveling to games, buying tickets, buying gear, and donating to the program. (I am also someone who has watched more Nebrasketball games than any reasonable person should over the last 30+ years hoping and waiting for something from that program...)3 points

Did you also know that it’s a thing for towns across the State I’m talking about are either revenue neutral or revenue positive! That means the area generates more tax revenue than it consumes. I have no Nebraska’s situation, but what if the counties you listed are responsible for 64% of the tax base but consume 68% of the tax dollars. Would they be “leeches”? It’s why you are so very off base, misguided, wrong when you call states leeches off the federal government. Only one state fits that qualification and it’s run by your party. As a matter of fact, the ruby red state of mine generates over $4 to the US treasury for every $1 it gets back. Apparently the US government is leeching off my state.2 points

Yeah, it's being pushed by Qanon....the same conspiracy group that many Republicans believe. Your post pretty much proves my point. And.....you must not have seen the question about why congress is interested in investigating Hunter's "illicit activity" when he hasn't ever held office....but his dad has.2 points

So, like I said, there wasn’t much reason for them to do anything given that RvW had been the law of the land for 40 years. There absolutely was great reason to do it and now they are paying the consequences of not doing it. Codifying into law would have taken it out of SCOTUS hands. RvW was rightfully overturned because it’s the purview of Congress to make laws not SCOTUS. So SCOTUS finally decided it was a states rights issue since Congress didn’t define it.2 points

Gee...it could be that I quoted one of the articles saying that Joe Biden funded Hunter's sex trafficking ring. Qanon believers are Republicans. The article actually said it funded Hunters illicit activities which would also include drug use. It also said Hunter got prostitutes FROM an illegal sex trafficking ring. NOT THAT HE RAN ONE. If he ran the prostitution ring, common sense would say he wouldn’t have to pay to have sex with them Here is your post… Senator Ron Johnson appeared on Harris Faulkner's Fox show, where he stated that his committee has evidence proving that Hunter Biden spent thousands of dollars on prostitutes from an international sex trafficking ring. Furthermore, he claimed that President Joe Biden provided hundreds of thousands ofdollars to his son, effectively financing Hunter's illicit activities.2 points

He would need a waiver for another year of eligibility. He has played 5 years2 points

If he gets a waiver for another year, then just let everybody play in college for as many years as they want. 5 games in 2019, then Covid year, then 3 years starting for Maryland. There was no injury that wiped out a season which is what normally gets someone an extra year.2 points
