We have too many basketball only kids in our school. They convince these kids to play basketball on these garbage AAU teams instead of being pushed and coached in other sports by coaches that have their best interest instead of lying to a 6'0 kid with an average skill set that they can get them a college scholarship in bball. It is awful.
-
At my high school growing up, if a kid didn't play on their summer aau team then they wouldn't start on the school team. If the kid tried to juggle between summer aau and summer legion baseball, they would also lose minutes in school season. Also, if you heard about that Bellevue HS team outside of Seattle, WA, the coach who got fired there for a plethora of reasons, he had a rule that players couldn't play any other sport if they wanted to play football.

Weird response from Minny fan last night leaving the stands. Wished them good luck and said hope they Wiscy. Guy says back to me, "We'd rather lose this game than win the Wiconsin game."

At what point do you realize your ROI in CA isn't panning out and invest in more lucrative territory?

Sort of agree but Whatcha gonna do? They know the area and they're going after big dogs. Other choices are go after big dogs in less well known areas or don't go after big dogs. Not sure we have a lucrative territory to exploit. It's pretty much always been our problem. Winning is our best solution.

Lost my wallet Saturday between Mouth of the South parking lot, my brothers truck, and my house and pretty sure it was in the parking lot after tearing up the truck and house. Not a lot of cash in there, a few gift cards, but mainly concerned about replacing my license, my CCW, and my debit card. Flying overseas next Friday too, so hopefully they don’t get crazy if all I have is my passport. Shoot, I also had 30¢ off my next fill-up at Kroger gas stationsÂ

Caveat Emptor. Global Entry is great, no doubt about it. But it does not always guarantee the precheck line skipping. In most instances it will. But on a rare occasion you will be forced into the regular line with the rest of the plebes. It's never happened to be personally but I've flown with coworkers it has happened to. Still worth it if you get plucked once or twice if you fly often.
-
@darkhorse85Â that actually just happened to me on our way back from Puerto Vallarta. My mother-in-law and wife also have Global Entry and we had no issues leaving the country, but on the way back, I got the ridiculous SSSS designation (for reasons I still don't understand). So, my pre-check didn't work at all on the way back, but the expressed customs portion did.
Â
I was reading a popular travel blogger's website and he said he once flew Delta, got the SSSS, and it didn't disappear for months despite calls to his senators offices, the airlines, etc. Eventually it just disappeared. I didn't have it happen until I flew Delta, too, so I hope it's not a recurring theme the next time I travel.

Can Nick Bahe go more than two days without comparing Tommy to TM. It's like picking a scab

I just want say, I love the all whites.

Been reading some stories that Vernon Adams asked to return to EWU, Baldwin said nope. His academic history at EWU had been doo doo, won't be surprised if he doesn't make it.

Keuchly gets credit over Lavonte by being on a better team. He gets hosed over so much

Niles Paul at fullback? He sure is showing his worth, hope he can stay healthy.

Anyone catch 1620 with Gary and Scheafer this morning? Trying to figure out the prospect that Riley quit recruiting because of a family member. Said it was before Riley coached a game, a kid who ended up in B1G, and we played him already.

I may have scared the girlfriend on Jano's TD run. Welcome to football season, sweetheart.

Ed Cunningham broadcasting game again next week

Some statuses ago I half-jokingly mentioned how there should be a publication which grades publications. Today, Elon Musk is tweeting how he’s going to start something like that up.Â

This would possibly work, as long as there's a way to ensure outfits like Fox News don't hire an Indian tech outfit to spam results their way and make it one verified person = one vote.Â
Â
That, and you can see the person's voting history, so if they're just going around pumping up excrement like Alex Jones, they can be flagged for review.Â

So who else got cited 10 minutes into kayaking for the first time ever in a cove - boat launch - for no life vest while completely sober?

Not a fan of commentators acknowledging point spreads and bad beats on the broadcast, but that’s just my opinion.Â

@teachercd it's like the game commentators are giving you a long-distance dedication when they mention the bad beats.
-
I don’t think I have great concrete reasoning, but I don’t care to hear about bad beats or back door covers. I get that it’s for the niche fan and sports betting has become more acceptable, but I don’t want it to be added to the in-game narrative like referee analysis has become because I view it as taking away from the game itself. Leave that to the degenerates who already know these numbers without being told!Â

Either I'm still hungover or I'm going through recruiting withdrawals, another commit might pull me outta this funk
